This popular inn does one of the best Sunday roasts around and offers a takeaway option, including delicious homemade wood-fired pizzas.

For a greater variety of eateries visit the beautiful village of Betws y Coed, which has numerous attractions and a distinctly Alpine feel, enhanced by the dense Gwydir Forest and mountain backdrop. Bike hire, fishing and a café are available at Llyn Brenig (which contains a 10-mile round walk) or for less strenuous, but equally impressive routes visit Llyn Crafnant and Llyn Geirionydd.
