Beautiful cottage with gardens near country walks.
This was by far the best maintained VRBO rental I've ever stayed in. The kitchen was well stocked with tools, the beds were warm and comfortable, and the house was spotlessly clean. Only salt and pepper are provided in the pantry but there is an herb garden at the door. The location is rural with views of the valley and is peaceful. Karen was immediately available via phone when I had questions about finding the house and key. Entry is via a lock box so once you've worked out where that is and which house this is in the small row of about 4 houses, it's easy to check in.

Very nice cottage in a lovely location, well equipped and very clean. However with 6 people there is not enough seating for 6 to relax comfortably together.

The Ardchoille Cottage was delightful for us to holiday in -- especially now with their beautifully updated kitchen and baths! Most luxurious! So well equipped for us to prepare and lay the table for our family's Thanksgiving feast. The highlands and the River Lyon were beautiful to walk about and the easy access to the quaint and well stocked village of Aberfeldy was appreciated.

Very quiet place and if that's what you need, then this is the place.
Very quiet place and if that's what you need, then this is the place. It is very self-contained, but I would say that to fit 6 in might be a bit of a squeeze in the evening as there isn't enough furniture to sit comfortably. (Two seater settee and two chairs). There are 3 bedrooms.
However, it is well equipped and there is parking for two cars, just!
There is not a lot within walking distance from the property, but it is well situated if you want to drive to local places, we visited Perth, Aberfeldy, Blair Castle and a variety of lovely little towns.

Well equipped cottage.
Well equipped cottage. In stunning location, very close to River Lyon which had great views. Short drive to Aberfeldy/Kenmore. Munro’s fairly close by. Lots to see and do around the area. Went with 3 boys and husband, highly recommend.
