Enjoy this tranquil retreat from all the excitement the Grayland/ Westport area has to offer. Come out for a night, week or month to surf, stroll, clam, fish, explore, or just cozy up with a good book and watch the waves breaking on the beach. Truly get away from it all! CLAMMING Dates (tentative) for fall 2025 have been announced! We fill quickly for these dates so please plan ahead. When Twin Harbors area is open you can clam directly on our beach. Had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The beach is amazing and from some literature included in the Welcome Book, we enjoyed traveling around to the local cranberry bogs. What a great find for my solo adventure.Long review: I booked this trip as a relaxing getaway after a busy season at work and I wanted to disconnect as much as possible. Well, the fates ensured that as the first night a rather powerful wind storm ripped through and took out the power. With the weather forecast I figured this might happen - so it didn’t really bother me. The house had battery powered lanterns to use, but I had brought my own. There was extensive damage to the power lines in the area, but Grays Harbor PUD got everything back in order with a day. Xfinity, not so much…but I didn’t need internet anyway. :)The house itself is beautiful - fully stocked with every you could need (though I admittedly didn’t use the kitchen much) and a very comfortable bed. Oh, and they also have blackout blinds on all the windows – lovely detail for those of us who want to sleep in but wake up to the sun. The owners were very responsive my whole stay. I felt very comfortable the entire trip.I can’t wait to plan my next trip here with my family. ##### Jen B.
