Little Dutch House - 100 Yr Old Restored Farmhouse

  • Enjoy your stay at our fully renovated Farmhouse situated on 3 acres. Spacious, garden covered and beautiful shady trees line the property, leading you down to a beautiful view of where river meets ocean. Next to the rustic barn with the tin roof, you will often be met with eagles as they come to sit on their perch overlooking the water. The house was fully renovated in Spring of 2022 and was renewed to much its original beauty. Boasting open beam ceilings and original plank floors, the Little Dutch House (original owners came over from the Netherlands in 1953) is ready to show off all of the updates to those looking to have a relaxing vacation on the Northumberland Shore. 5 bedrooms include 2 king beds, 1 queen and 2 doubles. Full bathroom is completely updated. Laundry on site. Pets welcome with pre-approval upon discussion. Guests will be provided with a full brochure on what to see and do while in the area. Fabulous Family Time

We just loved The Little Dutch House. It was central to so many sites, and in and of itself it is a beautiful location, lovingly maintained and equipped. We are a family group of 8, with some of us living in New Scotsburn and the rest from various parts of Ontario We spent a wonderful week exploring and reconnecting. Weekend Away

Little Dutch house is a perfect spot to get away for a couple days with a few friends. The outside property is perfect for washer toss, croquet, bocci ball etc.... tons of space. Inside the house you will find everything you need. Kitchen island is always the main hangout space at any Maritime gathering and this was no exception. Multiple bedrooms allow for many guests to be comfortable. This was our second year booking at the Little Dutch House and will be booking again for next year.
