This is a superb hotel - bedding so comfortable and the room very quiet. Its a great way to sleep of travel before driving anywhere. the ONLY criticism I have (and its a small one) is someone had let their young children into the gym on their own in the morning, and I went to reception and asked staff to deal with it but no one did. The boys were almost falling off the treadmills at high speed and should not have been unsupervised - I do wish a staff member had come up to sort it after I asked as I was worried seeing them using the equipment. They would have only been around 10 years old.

Was a great family stay. Great location with lots of things to do close by. Breakfast was great and the kids loved the options available. Staff were very helpful and welcoming.

Price point is right for this property. Car parks a little tight but this is useful for the location and closeness to CBD. Queen Street is within 40 minute walk but an Uber is only $10 each way and Sky City $14, very cheap. Room was spacious and tidy with the shower clean and meeting expectations given the price. Bed comfortable and heating worked well and was quick to heat the room. The hotel reception is not staffed after 8pm but entry via card is used instead. Area is quiet too with a short walk to Westfield shopping centre and various eateries coffee shops and McDonalds etc. easy access to the motorway to get out of Auckland or to the airport. Overall a pleasant stay.
