Absolutely beautiful hotel, staff is above and beyond lovely and the Riggs Cafe is delicious and comfortable. I was disappointed by the room service. I ordered $11 fries which ended up being $32 after tax, tip, and an $8 charge labeled ‘other’ - when I asked the person who delivered it what that was, he said tax and tip, but there was already an additional line item for tax and a gratuity line. Anyway, just not very transparent, but I begrudgingly accepted it as part of the ‘luxury” experience. The bed and bedding were EXTRAORDINARY - the type of sleep you remember and try to duplicate Lol Didn’t love the bathrobe or slippers and bathroom was small

The staff and the service is really the standout feature of this hotel. Room is elegant and classic. You’ll have to cross the road to use the gym but it the UC is the fanciest gym in the city.
