Prado Hotel
8/10 Good
"This is our third time to stay at this location since it changed from Drury to Prado. The first two times you would not have known there had been a change of ownership except one Kick Back meal was different. However, this time there were several new faces at the front desk and in the food service. Although they did their job, they were not of the same attitude and friendliness as the "old" staff. Another observation was that most exit doors were not clean. While this may not seem like a big deal, to me it is an indicator that in the future the cleanliness of the rooms may drop too. If you are staying in rooms on the 2nd or 3rd floor that surround the open space of the lobby, be prepared for a noisy night. It seems there is not a curfew for activity in the lobby and the sounds carries up the open spaces. Our last stay it was between midnight and 1 am before the noise stopped. Another difference from other times that we have been placed in rooms in those areas. Yes, it could just be a difference of guest who were utilizing the motel at the two different times. But 11 pm noise from the lobby - when there is a desk clerk hearing it Another observation was rather than the stray cats running like crazy when a guest walked down the sidewalk or opened an exterior door, one was peacefully lying at the front entrance sleeping. I don't hate cats - I own one. I understand strays and their need for food. But cats who become comfortable around doorways are a risk and liability."

"This hotel is new and clean!! 2024 build and well maintained. Modern look, bright and inviting. The only negative comment is that there is no laundry facility. Otherwise everything else is great."

10/10 Excellent
"Very secluded and peaceful property. House was cool, very bright and smelled good upon arrival. Only a few minor issues such as the ceiling fan in the bedroom squeaked and there were no fresh eggs, but hosts provided a fan for the bedroom and store bought eggs since the chickens were recently killed and they hadn’t updated the listing. Very responsive hosts. The only suggestion I would have is to provide basic items in the kitchen such as ketchup, butter, syrup, jelly, vegetable spray for cooking, and just some basic refrigerated items used in the kitchen. Most places leave items like this for the next visitors. It’s expensive to buy these items for single use. There were a few items in the refrigerator, but expired by a few years. Coffee pot has both regular filters for traditional pots or k cups. There were some k cups provided and some expired Folgers. We left behind some unexpired coffee for the next people. Just a suggestion to make people’s stay more affordable. Loved the house and charm. Just giving an accurate review of things I’d change if it were mine, but I’d definitely recommend it to anyone even if these changes weren’t implemented. Thank you!"
