"Our stay was as was expected. The breakfast was good with a fairly large choice of food items. I would like to have the option of being able to have the room fan running continuously for air circulation but there’s a new temperature control system that doesn’t have that option. I found the front desk staff to be friendly and courteous. Trey was especially helpful and accommodating. One item that was annoying was that the bathroom had kind of a sewer smell in it. We found that if we closed the drain in the bathtub, the smell went away. Probably the trap needs to be cleaned out. I informed the manager of the issue, on the morning that we were leaving, and she said that she’d have someone address the problem. I’m assuming that it’ll get done. The hotel is showing some age but the hotel is clean and well looked after. We’ll be booking this hotel again."

"The hotel is clean and feels modern which is really nice. The breakfast wasn’t good. No bacon or ketchup available. The sausages were not good, at least to me. Unfortunately for us there was a boys hockey tournament staying and one boy decided it would be funny to pull the fire alarm. It was very loud and for so long, we had to sit in our car for about 15 minutes while the fire department came - or go deaf. The room was nice but needed another mirror in the main room. There was only the mirror by the door and the bathroom, nothing in the main part of the room despite there being a large empty wall beside the television. The pool was so much smaller then what we envisioned by the photos we saw. With all the kids enjoying the pool we did not use the pool. Location was wonderful, close to everything including West Acres Mall and the Red River Zoo (which was so well kept and beautiful)."

"The good: - the front desk staff were all super helpful - lots of options for breakfast and the hours were from 5am till 10am - it's right off the highway - the big slide in the pool was good The not as good - the hotel is really dated - the rooms and hallways had probably the original carpet that looked like it had never been washed/carpet cleaned, but was 'clean' - the pool area was really dated, flooring peeling and lifted and the kids play structure was rusted - the chemicals in the hot tub weren't balanced and had lots of foam when the jets were turned on - our key cards would only work for a day before having to get rekeyed. The front desk staff said it's because of the locks. Happened almost every day in our multiple night stay"
