" luxury period house nice and comfortable. It is quite small and cosy But very very quite so guests tended to talk very low and the atmosphere was a bit stiff , nice to go if your looking for a bit of peace and quiet. The breakfast: I had pancakes off the hot food menu, they were inedible , soggy and burnt . continental buffet small but what was on offer was fresh. breads were not nice, cheap sliced pan toast, and plain soda bread , no other healthy options . No tea or coffee making facilities...

I had emailed about their additional services and never heard back, I checked in at 4:30 (online it said check in started at 4) and they had already left the property, so I was left alone with a note and no real description about how I could use the living room space and wood fire. "The property is a fairly nice place. Nothing special as far as rooms go, and the lack of air conditioning was a definite negative on a hot day. Windows helped but they don't have screens in the windows. Front desk staff was very friendly. Parking was easy. Grounds were very nice. My children enjoyed exploring the grounds."
