![We have been sailing along the coast of Albania for the past couple of weeks.  What a great country and the people are wonderful.  As Americans it's nice to be somewhere the people like the USA and really appreciate the help Nato gave them.

The country is not really set up for private boats yet. There is only one marina in the country and all the other stops have been in major ports.  But that's OK with us....we enjoy places that are not often visited by boat. The mountains and lakes in the northeast are fantastic and really worth the visit!

"The hotel is REALLY hard to find. Google maps, Apple maps and the Hotels.com listing all have it in the wrong place. It is two blocks from the beach as you are leaving town. Aside from that, we LOVED the staff there! They were all- every single person- REALLY friendly and went out of their way to make sure we had the best stay. If I could give the staff a million star review I would, they are that great. Thank you for your hospitality! "
