"This is a brand new hotel. We were the first Expedia customers staying here. We were extremely happy with our stay. We had a great view of the water and harbour area of Ksamil. Everything is walking distance. Breakfast was was one of best we had during our stay in Albania. The roof top restaurant has amazing views. It is also where you eat breakfast. The staff working there are also wonderful. They are personable and truly want you to enjoy yourself. Highly recommend this hotel."

"Awesome hotel, but quite a way from the centre. Listing states 0.4 miles. 2 miles at least !!! It's a 150 lek bus ride to "Planet Supermarket" bus stop, or a 1000 lek taxi fare. (100 lek = 0.75p)"

"This hotel is run by multiple generations of the same family who were all so nice and welcoming. The lady owner was a delight, whilst she didn’t speak English we communicated in other ways and she even got us a little gift when we left. The hotel beach is a 2km walk away but is much nicer than the others which are far busier and all had awful loud pumping music and again nothing was to much trouble for the staff there. "Nice new hotel, very clean. Breakfast really poor though, everything served cold even sausages and fried eggs. Waste of time paying extra for jacuzzi room cause only one room has proper jacuzzi, rest of them just a bath with bit of bubbles in the bathroom. Big plus for Netflix. "

"The hotel was in a perfect location; not too close to the center of the city yet close enough to walk to it easily. The room was cozy and spacious, and the food was very good. We ate dinner and breakfast at the hotel and found both meals to be excellent. This is a family-run hotel with owners who clearly care deeply about the property. Everything was clean and well cared for. Parking was a little tricky but we managed fine. "

"The property itself is lovely, well maintained, and picturesque. The staff were helpful and provided a wonderful breakfast. I don't know if this was typical, but there was a neighborhood dog that barked constantly, all night long. I feel badly for the property as that is not their fault, but I was unable to get any sleep at all as a result. "

"Hotel Valza is beautiful and quiet. I liked that the hall lights were activated when someone was there, so they weren't on all night long. Breakfast was delicious, and the chefs of Eden were so accommodating. The parking garage was only inaccessible once when we returned late at night."

Don’t be put off by the reviews that say it’s hard to find, there are lots of signs and whilst the roads are a bit tight it’s easy enough to find. And it’ll keep you fit going up and down that hill to town!"

"The hotel is located on the main street of Berat, Rruga Antipatrea. From the bus terminal you can reach the hotel using a public bus or vice versa; you also can take a public bus to get to downtown Berat. The room is clean and spacious and its amenities are in good condition. I definitely will go back to this hotel."

"A wonderful little hotel, very comfortable and affordable. Helpful staff, who speak Abania, Italian, and English. Conveniently located to all the sites without the noise and congestion of the typical tourist spots. A full breakfast is included. I had dinner in the restaurant; the food was fresh and generous portions. Only down side, there was no refrigerator in my room as was noted on the booking that one was included. Note: If you can't (or don't want to) do stairs, that might be an issue for...
