"The young woman who ran the desk was great. Really helpful. HOWEVER the check-in is self service and the email I received was in German. I don’t read German while we were attempting to get in the hotel 2 other couples came up with the same problem. "The hotel has a great location right across from the train station and the cable car. The building is showing its age a bit, but the rooms are clean and comfortable. The breakfast was good, and the staff were very helpful. All in all, we had a great stay there."

10/10 Excellent

"Perfect location for the centre without being disturbed. Authentic accommodation with an excellent choice at breakfast. Evening meal was optional which we enjoyed as the quality and service was exceptional, a little expensive but you definitely pay for what you get. Staff are very pleasant and spoke good English which made our stay more enjoyable. The Junior suite was a good size very clean and serviced everyday. Unfortunately there is no tea & coffee facilities in the room or air conditioning when staying in the summer. This may be uncomfortable on hot days. Overall I would highly recommend and we plan to return in the winter months "
