Only exception is inability to book meals and drinks to room to pay in one payment with one invoice. Apparently due to booking through second parties like Expedia this can’t be done. "Loved the renovated hotel however woke up at 2:30am and unable to turn AC down from 28 degrees, not sure if the AC was not working or had been blocked but very hard to get dressed in appropriate clothing for early morning hot air ballooning when it feels like summer weather."

"Kerry and Dave are excellent hosts and we had a lovely stay at the York Motel. Located within a very short walk of the main street but tucked away in a quiet spot. Our room and all amenities were spotless with modern bathroom and a good hot shower. Cannot fault their hospitality and can happily recommend. We would book direct with them next time though as our booking information had not been passed onto them in time for our arrival, thankfully Dave was brilliant at resolving the issue, thank...

"Staff were very helpful and friendly. Room was OK for budget accommodation and was clean and tidy, which is important. Restaurant staff were very helpful and meal recommendations were spot on. Would again for sure."

"It was a pleasant stay. The strategic location is a plus. The unit is just perfect for us. The only issue is with the hot water system which one person shower idea. The rest of us had to wait once the person finished. We tried to use three bathrooms at the same time, one or another ended up with cold water."
