"Excellent Hotel with Great Views staff friendly overall great holiday. Restaurant was not great/ food was cold when it arrived at the table think it had been pre frozen and the warmed up rubbish !!! also in rooms coffee making facilities not great only paper cups plus we had to keep asking for coffee to be left in room. The view made up for all that and made our holiday great . "

"Wonderful and charming hotel by the lake, with an amazing history. Our room had a private balcony with a view to the lake and courtyard. Breathtaking! Service was excellent. Breakfast was simple but good, but if you want a real cappuccino, you have to pay and order at the bar, which we didn’t mind. Otherwise you have the automatic machine next to the breakfast buffet which we didn’t like. There’s parking on the premises, however, be advised that it’s €15 per day. Worth it. The hotel is in Valsolda, a short drive from Lugano. Would definitely stay at Stella D’ Italia again. "

"Hotel Vischi was amazing - we have been traveling in Italy for 2.5 weeks and spent our last 2 nights here. The rooms are very clean, spacious and comfortable. The breakfast was amazing also. We loved the area as it is quieter than the south of the lake but has plenty of walks and areas to bike ride. The ferry pickup is a short walk away. There is also ample free parking at the hotel. We used the spa (steam room and sauna. We used the hotel complimentary bikes to go on a 15k bike ride to the northern tip of the lake (all on a bike path) We loved our stay and will be back "
