We traveled with our family over Christmas and stayed through New Year’s Day. The home was spotless, well maintained, and offered plenty of space for our family of five. The owners were wonderful—very kind and attentive, checking in periodically to ensure we had everything we needed. Our primary reason for the trip was to visit Santa Claus, IN, and the location couldn’t have been better—just minutes away. We were also within two hours of Evansville and Kentucky, both of which offered plenty of activities and attractions. It's well stocked, comfortable beds. Our grandsons played basketball, there is Corn Hole, games. We sat outside in the morning under the fan. It's decorated very cute too. The layout was rather odd as the washing machine and dryer were in the bedroom.We did have some trouble finding the location when we arrived after dark as it is off of a side street and the driveway is not well marked. Once there we had no trouble getting into the house.Also, it is next-door to a tavern. That did not bother us, but it may some people as this is not disclosed. The biggest complaint is the noise from the highway that runs directly in front of the house. The noise was loud in the bedroom with windows facing the street which made it almost impossible to sleep well. Although we were aware of this before we booked and made arrangements to have supplies, the house is not near any conveniences such as grocery stores which are miles away on rural roads. ##### G O.
