I had a large room, very basic but as expected. 3 beds, table and open wardrobe. Breakfast was good, although the upper floor area could really benefit from a bit of a spruce up, its a shame they don't make more use of the roof top area. It's currently not a pleasant place for eating!!!! But could be a nice place to chill with a bit of effort. Water (hot and cold) available 24/7 in lobby area. Sodas and beer also available. However our “beach view” was completely obstructed and the bathrooms had mold all over the ceilings. This was the only Hostal we stayed in that did not have water for us to refill our bottles. They did have a store to buy a few items. My daughter forgot her earphones and they flagged us down to let us know which was really nice. The property needs some serious work. I paid more for the ocean views from the patio but wasn’t able to see it at all. We liked that out door place to sit and 24 hr coffee. The room air-conditioner did not work and the over head light kept blinking all night. The outside temp was 85 degrees. The staff did not care about either of these problems and offered no compensation. Our room was moved the next day. We had warm water for showers but it did run out for the 4 of us. They had clean water and fruit for us and a good breakfast. I've stayed at 4 hostels in the islands and this one was by far my fav. Many lacked the social aspect, but here the owners have a lovely beach bar across the road where they hosted events (game nights, trivia, etc) which was great to meet other travellers. The rooms were spacious, shower was hot, rooftop area was nice. Only 1 item I disliked - 2 of the windows in my room were just screens at the top and couldn't be closed, so you could hear all the noise from people and cars going by. Still highly recommend!
