"Beautiful views! Glamping tents were so spacious and the kitchenette was so well appointed. Michelle was very welcoming and even built a fire for roasting marshmallows. We stayed in July, which was pretty cold in the mornings though we did sleep warm with comforters and electric blankets. "The place looked abandoned & not open. Absolutely zero communication from the host about checkin process. The property had no access, was surrounded by a high wall & had high grass surrounding it on all sides. I repeat - it looked abandoned & very sketchy. My husband decided not to even stay there because it did not look to be in a safe area. We went to the Hilton Doubletree instead, which is a lovely hotel in Alice. I cannot recommend anything at all about VATU Sanctuary. "
