"I liked this hotel. Not fancy, but clean, welcoming and has a garden to sit in. My bed a bit hard....but everyone likes different comfort. The breakfast has a very nice choice for such a small hotel. The location is in a safe and leafy neighborhood, only a short way from the airport. It is quite a walk to the nearest metro, but some things to do nearby like the Museum. Friendly staff. "

"We were a family with teenagers visiting from UK. We were very impressed with the Old Bukhara hotel and found it to be one of the best we have stayed on our travels in Uzbekistan. It is spotless and the rooms lovely with good quality bedding etc. The traditional uzbek breakfast was the best we have had too. Staff and management were really accomodating and very helpful. We recommend!! "

"Nice view on the lake, new rooms with modern designs, clean. Not organized kitchen. Very unfriendly woman receptionist. Just on arrival hot water in shower ended. We were asked to change the room, where shower was better but tap didn't have hot water all the stay. When we arrived to breakfast(8 to 11 am) at 10 am, there were only empty dirty plates, fruits, some veggies and cakes. On our questions we were told that we still can eat what is left. After some arguments they brought some sausages...

"Even though I paid the property for 2 extra days and they refused to refund the money despite early notice I simply requested they provide registration for the days I paid but they took my money and didnt help me. I had to drive cross the border to Kazakhstan and back at midnight just to avoid a big fine. "

"For 7000 kzt (about $17) this is a real bargain. Service is fine and the room was reasonably clean (didn’t see any bugs). It’s not right downtown but not too far either (45 min walk or 10 min taxi ride to the historic center). The curtains weren’t that thick so a lot of light comes in the room in the morning- not great if you want to sleep in."
