"The beds were so comfortable clean and the room always had a fresh scent. I’m picky about hotel shampoos and these smelled really good, the staff was always on top of assisting without being asked. There is a lot of close nice restaurants, there’s a beautiful amazing authentic french bakery right down the walkway less than two minutes away. The other dining options were only about 5-15 minute walk as well as Chinatown, and Little Tokyo. Location of this hotel is perfect for everything."
"This was a wonderful hotel to stay at over the weekend! Nearby is a wonderful Brazilian restaurant I went to every day, Bossa Nova, and in the opposite direction was a lovely donut/ice cream/hot dog shop I went to on the last day.
I paid a bit more than I usually would so I could get a corner suite, and it was beautiful! I imagined living my entire life there lol. Everything was extremely comfortable. I did notice some scratches on some doors and a missing lightbulb in a lamp, but nothing that truly impeded my stay.
The staff were very accommodating, even when they missed a wakeup call I requested the night before and hence I missed my bus back home, they did everything in their capabilities to cater to my needs after purchasing another bus ticket, such as allowing me to securely store my bags in the locked lobby closet, allowing me to access the closet throughout the day after my time in the room was up, and providing me with a card to access the floor of amenities for the hotel until it was time for my departure.
Missing my bus due to a staff member failing to note down my wakeup call request cost me roughly $100 and a day of work, but I was refunded one day's fees worth almost $40, and the staff did their best to accommodate me.
I also had an unexpectedly great day wandering around the city after having a packed schedule through the weekend, so for that I am thankful. Downtown LA is truly wonderful and this is the best hotel in the area."
"Safest, cleanest, and best views of any hotel in this area. I have been here numerous times, the bedroom suite is unmatched. My favorite hotel in all of Los Angeles.
Only had 1 bad experience (room was sold out after I booked online) but over a dozen good experiences. "
"Beautiful hotel and well located for the metro and buses. Close to little Tokyo for good restaurants. No hidden fees and safe. The rooms are very cool compared to more traditional hotels like Hilton and Marriott. "
"Our family of four (parents and 9 and 12 children) spent four days at the Omni Los Angeles. We chose this hotel based on proximity to Dodgers Stadium as we were in a town for a couple of ball games. The "
