Meadow Lake Guest Ranch - Jefferson Ranch House

Jefferson Ranch House is a 1.5 storey, custom-crafted, 3,050 square foot log home. Originally built in 1998, it underwent significant renovations to improve guest comfort in 2018.

The first floor area is 2,065 square feet and it features a large open living space, with kitchen, dining area and living room under a vaulted ceiling. The gourmet kitchen is well equipped with dishes and cookware and has ample work, storage, and fridge space.

There are two bedrooms on the main floor: a large king ensuite and a queen bedroom.There are two four-piece bathrooms on the main floor. The master ensuite features a large soaker bathtub that comfortably fits two people.

In the 986 square foot loft, there are two queen loft nooks, curtained off for guest privacy. The Games Room is also located in the loft of the Jefferson Ranch House. It features a bar, a pool table, a TV with satellite connectivity, a foosball and an air hockey table.

There is a covered patio across the entire front of the home with captivating views of the mountains and sunsets over Meadow Lake and the Marble Range. Two-thirds of the patio is screened; this section features a dining area with seating for 16 and a lounge area with couches.

The house is primarily heated by the wood burning radiant heated floor. Secondary heating is provided by our wood burning fireplace and electric baseboard heaters.

Wifi is available in this house and most of our guests have full cell coverage during their visits. The living room features a TV with satellite connectivity. In the loft space, a desk with printer- photocopier is available for guest use.

Outside the house is a barn, a horse turn-out. Please call in advance to arrange Bunk and Bale.

Also located onsite is a large covered carport. EV charging is available; guests are asked to bring all their own chargers and adaptors.Peaceful Refuge in an Idyllic Setting!

Meadow Lake Guest Ranch is located in central British Columbia, 35km northwest of the town of Clinton, on the historic Gold Rush Trail. Over 700 acres, the ranch sits on the Fraser Plateau surrounded by undisturbed Crown Lands with dozens of lakes and streams that support a rich ecosystem and abundant wildlife.

Meadow Lake Guest Ranch caters to those looking to escape the hectic urban lifestyle and indulge in the many self-directed activities of the region. There are multiple private lodgings on the Ranch which offer accommodation year round at various price points.

Be prepared to see an array of wildlife as the Ranch is home to multiple ecosystems and diverse wildlife population. Surrounded by undisturbed Crown Lands, the exploring, fishing and hunting opportunities are endless. There are dozens of stocked trout ponds within minutes of the Main House. Guests will need to provide for their own equipment and attire when visiting Meadow Lake Guest Ranch.

With hundreds of acres to explore on the Ranch or the vast expanse of breathtaking wilderness of the south Cariboo, there’s no limit to the activities available. A 100% refund is provided for travellers cancelling at least 14 days before check-in. A 50% refund is provided for travellers cancelling from 7 to 13 days before check-in.
