Balusters Farmhouse B&B - A True Gem

We found the B&B to be delightful and peaceful as well as convenient to the ferry. We could not have asked for a more pleasant and cordial host!!!

A big yes from us!

We stayed for one night and were made to feel very welcome. Lovely to sit outside after a long day with a beer and get in a comfortable bed for a good nights sleep. Breakfast was good, overall a great experience that I can recommend and if ever our travels take us in that direction again, we will definitely stay again

The balyett farmhouse was beautiful ..clean and the rooms was moden with everything you could ask for !the food was delicious and the owners very friendly an nother was any trouble they was lovely I would highly recomend this lovely B&B

Very trusting and room was immaculate. We had an early ferry the next morning and since we would miss breakfast, received a cold breakfast pack. Beautiful location.

Lovely place with lovely people. The surrounding area is spectacular and watching the sunset was superb. Unfortunately we couldn't stay for breakfast but I'm sure it would have been perfect. Attention to detail was second to none.

Quick stop before taking the ferry

We stayed here because we needed to get an early ferry the next morning. It was really lovely and we wish we could have stayed longer. My only disappointment was that we had to leave before we could have breakfast. It would have been nice if there was something available for early risers.

A lovely house and well decorated/elegant room. Would prefer the sink in the bathroom but it’s not a big deal. Jacqui is the hostess with the mostess and made us feel very welcome and recommended nearby restaurants for dinner and cooks a good full Scottish breakfast. Extra cereal and stuff available if you have the room too. But I was stuffed after my full Scottish. A beautiful place with breathtaking views across the bay. Would totally recommend and Henry’s Bay restaurant for dinner too! 😍

Fantastic B&B in beautiful location

Highly recommend. Great B&B. Room was perfect for our family. Peaceful location and fabulous views from our room. Jackie was lovely, very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was delicious. Will definitely return.

Week end trip

Stayed 2 nights- our host looked after us brilliantly- lovely property with high levels of cleanliness. Really comfortable beds and pillows. Very competitively priced for what you get. Delicious (and filling) breakfast included. Property is quiet and situated about 100 m or so away from main road. It has great views of Loch Ryan. Great find and I would recommend to others. I would return without hesitation.

A charming room and accommodation

A comfortable room in a lovely house with a glorious view over nearby fields. We had the window open due to the heat and were suddenly overcome with midges and moths etc but not problem! A filling Scottish breakfast was served in the morning and it set us up for the day.

Stayed overnight here and it was a great place to stay. Rooms were fantastic and Jacqui has done everything in the current situation to make our stay as nice as possible. Jacqui also helped in recommending and booking a lovely meal out. Nothing is too much trouble for her. Also the added bonus of a fantastic Scottish breakfast in the morning. Would highly recommend
