Very pleasant stay in a boring looking building
Modern, comfortable hotel with nice amenities and great restaurant. Nice big bathtub and separate shower. The only thing missing is a door to the bath/shower room... so it can feel drafty and cold even while enjoying a hot shower or bath. Staff was friendly, and the restaurant management and chefs were great. I rarely find hotel dining to be worth it, but this was. Also, the breakfast was good. Parking is super easy and cheap (5 EUR/24 hours), and it has easy access to major roads and is a short distance drive from the city center. Unfortunately, like many hotels, there is only one thick dekbed (blanket/comforter). It was definitely warm enough, but when it becomes too warm the only option is to throw it off until you get cold. It would be much nicer if there were a thinner one and an extra optional layer.

Recent stay
We booked this hotel last minute as we walked away from a reservation elsewhere. The hotel is brand new snd well thought out. Parking was right at the hotel and reception validated our parking. We ate dinner at their restaurant and it was really good. The breakfast buffet was really good as well. Despite the size of the hotel, it was very quiet. Reception staff were very friendly and welcoming.

The mattress was very soft(styrofoam)and the hotel did not have any alternatives. When we complained the answer was that all the rooms had the same beds. Finally we had to sleep on the baseboard for three days!!. Will not return again.

Very nice staff. Rooms are well equipped with all the things you need for the stay. But it would be great if moisturiser were provided. Deluxe rooms are larger with enough space between bed table and TV. Comfort room are not as wide.

A light-filled hotel
Lumen Hotel doesn't look like much from the outside of the building, but inside it is light filled & contemporary. We stayed three nights. We ate one time at the breakfast buffet & we were very pleased with that. We were charged too much for the parking & the hotel clerk was pleasant about changing it to the right price. The room was clean and comfortable. The shower was an experience. We liked the toilet & sink in two separate rooms so we could get ready at the same time. Lumen is a nice place to stay!

The actual hotel is very nice, comfortable, spacious and furnished to a new standard with good bathroom. I think the food prices are bit high within the hotel, the overnight parking charge a bit excessive seems as though need a vehicle to get there and there is a lack of rooms that have twin beds.
