Friendly, knowledgeable, professional staff. Super comfortable bed, plenty of hot water. Clean, quiet and good sized rooms. Delicious breakfast. We stay here whenever we are in town.

Compares to North American 4*hotels
This hotel is pretty high quality and is generally clean. There are a few parts that could be a bit cleaner, but generally it was a great stay. Parking is pretty good but sometimes full. But there is parking close by. The grocery store Spar is just one block away. By the way, the breakfast is GREAT compared to American hotels. Fresh eggs, bacon, cold cut meat, cheeses, sweets, coffee, etc. The room is pretty big (2x double beds) and has a hair dryer, big closet, and a refrigerator. One thing that is missing is a iron for the clothes. I would stay here again. Jarun is great.

Pleasantly Surprised
We were pleasantly surprised by this hotel, we booked an overnight stay in Zagreb because our international flight was out of there and we didn’t want to pay overpriced inner city hotel. Location was great, we ubered into city and cost was approximately 9AUD one way. Staff very friendly, breakfast excellent! The lake was a healthy 10 minute walk. Great value here.

Nice little hotel about 30 minutes drive from the airport. Clean and nice. Good breakfast with multiple choices. There are choices of restaurants close by. We would recommend this hotel.

Great staff and great location
I was impressed with the hotel staff, specially at the front desk. The room was spacious, with a large TV set and a very comfortable bed. Breakfast was very good with all the essentials and varied options to choose from. Location is great since it is very near Jarun Lake with all its amenities and the tram to downtown Zagreb is 2 minutes walk. There's a supermarket near the hotel for water, fruits, snacks or whatever, and a kiosk, great to buy those tram tickets (only 4 kn each!). Next time in Zagreb will most definitely be at this hotel!

Check in was very easy and fast. We needed information on where to have dinner close by she gave us great recommendations. The room was very clean and in a modern style.parking was at the location. Breakfast was good a combination of hot and cold breakfast items. Would stay there again

It was very modern and clean. The elevator/lift was fast and convenient. Located fairly close to a Tram and a small market with food and bar. The road noise was a little disturbing as we had to sleep with the window open. There was no AC when we were there.

Great fit for our needs
Great small hotel. Located not in the central but only few stations in the trum transportation. Very nice hotel and great team (all the employees that we met). Very nice breakfast and additional services that the hotel offers.

I stayed at Hotel Jarun for 5 nights with a student when a group trip went awry and we were separated from the main group for a week. It was clean, safe and the staff were wonderful. I had never been to Zagreb and never traveled as a solo adult in a foreign country and it was a good way to “ease into it”. It is not downtown and there is not much to do right around the hotel but it is very close to the tram line which got us to figure that system out quite rapidly.

This was probably the nicest hotel I stayed in Europe and I stayed in a lot (all of them a 100 Euros or less)- but the bed was so comfortable - breakfast was amazing and the staff friendly and all spoke English.

Enjoyable stay in west Zagreb
Great stay in hotel Jarun again. I like this hotel because it is out of town (30 mins from central bus station using tram no.5), within reach of nice walks round lake Jarun. But also because it has a good gym (usually, it was actually not available during this visit) and large flatscreen TV with a choice of channels AND movies. Quiet location (though if road side room, there is traffic noise). Short walk to local shops and fast-food/coffee shops. 15 min walk to MacDonalds or Batak restaurants. We were able to use the breakfast area after 10am to sit and meet/have coffee.

Hotel Jarun er supert for den som ikke krever overdådig luksus. Ryddig, rent og bekvemt. Meget positivt og hjelpsomt personale i resepsjonen! Det er selvsagt litt langt fra sentrum, men trikken går ofte og tar ca 20 min. Eneste negative er vel at det ikke er bar eller felles oppholdsrom der - ingen alternativer til å oppholde seg på rommet når man er inne.

Excellent petit hôtel moderne
Excellent petit hôtel, moderne et situé à 5 min. à pieds de la station de tram. Petit déjeuner copieux et divers. Personnel très arrangeant et aimable. Marché à deux pas. Seul petit souci du séjour, problème de réglage de température, la chambre était constamment au dessus de 25° alors que nous sommes en hiver. Problème technique que le personnel m'a dit avoir été causé par le tremblement de terre qui a eu lieu quelques jours avant. Vu l'état de certains bâtiments (mais pas l'hôtel), j'ai tendance à les croire.
