We enjoyed our stay at this unique property and would definitely return. Large, comfortable and excellent area. Few improvements-bed not very comfortable, no coffee or tea, and only one small bar of soap (no shampoo, separate soap/body wash for shower). These would make it much better. Staying here? Bring your own!

Great location, interesting decor and well equipped with kitchen appliances We enjoyed our stay and would recommend to anyone The spiel stairway was a bit challenging getting heavy suitcases up and down but plenty of floor space once you get up there

Amazing apartment.
This is an amazing property, so different to other places we've stayed in. Definitely has the wow factor when you walk in. Quirky describes it best. Lots of thought has been put into the interior design. Very clean, extremely comfortable, right in the centre of York with a 2 minute walk to the Shambles. Only downside is some noise at night time as you're next to the back entrances to some restaurants and a pub. The alleyway leading to the property is not very clean and a bit off putting but once you're in the property it's amazing. I highly recommend this place and would stay there again.

Stunning quirky apartment!
Fantastic location and stunning quirky apartment. We both loved our stay in york and would defo recommend this to anyone thinking of going. The apartment has everything you need down to a coffee machine. Made staying in york a much better experience.

The Old Mill is a lovely, homey, quirky place. It is extremely well located and we felt very much relaxed and at home.

Love the old mill
Loved the old mill. It was quirky and comfortable. Close to the shambles and orher shops and pubs. Would definitely recomend and stay again. Only down side was the shower heat was a bit intermittent but wouldnt put me off

Fantastic apartment. Superb location.
The Old Mill apartment was beautiful and surpassed our expectations. Decorated superbly and had everything we needed The location was perfect and centra to all of the bars, restaurants and shops. Would highly recommend and we will definitely be going back again when we visit York.

Amazing apartment, just how you see on the pictures, very retro & very comfortable.. A two night stay celebrating 50th Birthday & a day at the races..right in the city center with parking just 3mins away, would definitely stay again…

Great place, better sound proofing required
Apartment is very smart, clean and tidy with a cool city vibe. Location is fantastic and right in the heart of York. Only thing that let the stay down was the noise from outside, workers had congregated from adjacent restaurants at midnight and proceeded to talk loudly outside the bedroom window. With only single glazing this made them seem like they were in the room. That night sleep was then broken once more by the bottle collections from nearby bars and restaurants at 6am. Neighbours in the apartment above could also be trudging around all evening.

A gem in the heart of York
Quirky fabulous accommodation right in the heart of York. Everything a 2 minute walk and a 5 minute stagger back. Loved it and would definitely recommend to friends.

Amazing flat in a brilliant location
We had a fantastic time at the Old Mill. The decor and ambience of the flat was fantastic, with so many finishing touches that made the flat unique and so much better than just another hotel. The location is brilliant, with us having to walk no more than 5 mins to reach most of the places in town we wanted to go to. We did find it a bit more loud at night due to the location, but that didn’t detract from our enjoyment nor would it put us off staying again a second time, which we are definitely thinking of! Thank you for a great stay!
