A peaceful friendly sanctuary in downtown Yerevan
The hotel is in busy downtown Yerevan yet feels like a quiet sanctuary when inside. The staff were friendly and helpful, answering the regular tourist questions and solving problems promptly. I enjoyed the rooftop pool and healthy breakfast choices.

Cant beat this Hotel
World class service and staff. Expect much better treatment, and helpful staff, without the stuffiness of any other 5 star hotel in the world. Every request was fulfilled with pleasure ans smile.Italian restaurant is impressive and better than most in Italy itself. As far as location...one of the best spots in town on a tree lined street, with cafes, restaurants, shopping, banks, money exchange within steps of the hotel. The tour company we used for our excursions (Hyure Services) is a block over and a great convenience. The lobby is just a added bonus with the piano bar and a great place to mingle

Our first visit to Armenia and the hotel made it so enjoyable and memorable that we will go back again.

Loved the rooms and the super friendly reception staff who helped us in any way we asked. The pool could have been better - It's the first pool where the poolbar doesn't allow the guests to bring food and drinks to the sun chairs, so we had to go sit at the normal tables. Change that and I'll give it a straight 5.

Hotel was allegedly 5stars,but the service specially breakfast just deserve a 4!overally i think you wouldnt find a better place in Yerevan

Perfect choice.
First visit to Yerevan, Armenia. Stayed at Royal Tulip and was very pleased with this decision. From the moment we arrived the staff were very helpful indeed - from reception, room service, bar and restaurant. First class hotel in prime position. Excellent breakfast, and although we didn't have dinner booked, I'm sure this would have been very good. The rooms were clean and a free bottle of water supplied daily. The swimming pool on the rooftop was a bonus, especially during the hot months. All in all we felt very welcomed and 'at home'. Thank you.

Stay in Golden Tulip Hotel
The hotel was very well located in the heart of the city. The staff were extremely friendly and multilingual, the challenge that you might face in Armenia. The rooms were very clean and daily taken care of. Overall the hotel added a beautiful vibe to the uniqueness experience of visiting a wonderful country such as Armenia.

Excellent hotel
Excellent hotel in an excellent location. Rooms were clean, service was great, very attentive personnel ready to help any moment of time. Also, very good internet connection for connected freaks like us. My friends stayed at Marriott and regretted about not moving to our hotel after visiting us.

I dont think this hotel should be rated as 5 star. Parking problem. Small swimming, need improvment in the resturant, old building, ordinary bathrooms etc. Nevertheless good location only !!

Overpriced for the standard of room that you receive. Bathroom is very dated. Service is excellent, location very convenient.

It's a lie. It's not a 5 star. Maybe 3.5.
No pool, they charge for Jacuzi and souna. Dirty towels, no soap holder in the shower, nails on the floor injured my foot...

Unfortunate glitch
For several years now, this has been my favorite hotel to stay in while in Yerevan. I had my first negative experience on this last trip; there was construction going on in the hotel, which resulted in loud noise and shaking in my room. When I finally complained, the staff just apologized but did absolutely nothing about it. This won't stop me from going there in the future, as it is still the best hotel for the price of the many where I have stayed.

Great start/end to a trip to Armenia
This is a really nice base to enjoy Yerevan and surrounds. The location is perfect, and the parking in front of the hotel very useful if you have your own car. The breakfast is delicious, and the rooftop pool a great escape from the summer heat. The whole city center is in easy walking distance, and the rooms are properly air conditioned and sound proof--neither of which can be taken for granted in Armenia.

Do not expect 5 stars
To start with, the hotel is not 5 stars at all. Rooms are very basic. I would rate Golden Tulip as a 3-4 star hotel e.g. nothing better than Ibis chain in Europe. The gym only has extremely basic equipment and the pool is small. Quality of the service is a disaster, people are almost making you feel guilty for ordering something. Hotel staff speaks basic English but they are not competent in helping you at all. It looks like everybody is only interested in sucking money out of you and not fixing your problems. They often lie as well. When I ordered lunch, I wanted Caesar Salad first but then wanted to change it to a club sandwich 2 minutes later. The waitress was furious at me so I kept it. There is a small exchange office at the hotel and the guy sitting there is scary and extremely rude as well. In short, people are very rude, demanding and all they ask for is money. Finally, prices are at least 4 times more than the rest of the city so do not eat or drink there and do not even ask them to arrange something for you.

The best value in town
I have stayed at many different hotels over the years when visiting Yerevan, and this is my favorite by far. It is not as nice as the Marriott, but the Marriott is way overpriced. The staff at the Golden Tulip are always available, seem to always have genuine smiles, and the service is top-notch. I even needed my clothes cleaned and they did it in hours and didn't charge me the extra fee for quick service. They even called me to tell me they were having trouble getting a stain out! The front desk arranged anything I needed while here, including cars to take me where I needed to go for fair prices. The only complaints I have is that the wireless internet (included in room charge) was not reliable (typical) and the mattresses are not superb, although far better than almost any other hotel I have stayed at while in Armenia. Overall this place is great.

I stayed in GT for 5 days. I had to extend my 3 night stay twice due to business matters. Event though I kept on rebooking the same type of room, they would make me move to a new room each time. I will get to that in a min. Pros: Beautiful hotel. Very conveniently located close to many things. Friendly personnel. Cons: A bit pricey. Personnel, including reception and so-called concierge, are young and friendly, and that's it. They don't have enough information or education about the city and facilities. (They sent me to bad restaurants and wrong addresses few times - Marriott hotel has GREAT concierge! VERY HOT (temperature) Noisy at nights Business center charges for everything, even turning on their PC! ok. So I stayed there first for 3 days. My room was very hot, but luckily I had an outside window which I had it opened all the time. I had to extend my stay for another night. They had me move to a different room, same size. Except that this room was even hotter than the first one, didn't have a window to outside (only over looking the bar), and worse case, it was a smoking room! no matter how much I complained, the night shift receptionist was like a dumb person and didn't care. Kept on saying "umm, sorry,, ummm) So I stayed, and my allergies kicked in (to smoke). Then the next day, which unfortunately I had to re-extend my stay, I told them the problem and they gave me a different room. This one was very hot also, but had outside window. The main problem with this room was that the hot water didn't have much pressure. So I could either take a cold shower with pressure, or with drops of hot water! It didn't help that I was there in March and it was COLD! So, after some problems that I had with my rooms, on the check out day, I told them if they compensate for some of the problems. They said they can't do anything and that the central heater in the building hasn't been working right and pretty much nothing. After couple minutes of being upset, the manager finally talks to me over the phone! She says "next time you are in Yerevan, we will give you a free upgrade"!! That is even after I told her I am probably never coming to Yerevan anymore. But she didn't care. Oh and also their gym was closed and they wanted to send me 2-3 kilometers south to Best Western hotel to use their gym. Maybe it was my bad luck, but I didn't have a good time there. Next time, which prob never happens, but if it does, I will go to Marriott. I had stayed there before and the service was AMAZING! safe travels

It's very near from the center of Yerevan city（In a few minuits in walking）. エレバンの中心の共和国広場から徒歩数分と場所は文句なし。 The staffs are very friendry（if you can speak English or Russian）. スタッフもフレンドリーです（英語もしくはロシア語が出来ればですが）。 The room is very luxusurious and bath room is tiled of marble. 部屋の内装は豪華で浴室は大理石張りです。 But there is no bathtub,and I recommend you to bring your toothbrush and razor. あえて難点を挙げるのであればバスタブがないことと、アメニティーグッズがやや貧弱な点でしょうか（カミソリと歯ブラシがない）。 If you can put up with it,this is the best choice in Yerevan! その点さえ除けば最高のホテルです。

Golden Tulip Yerevan Hotel - Excellent Hotel, would defenitely recomend it.
Very friendly staff, great ambiance, though room decor is rather tired, and in dire need of an update! Not my idea of 5*, I think it was last renovated in 2000, and it showed! Service is great, staff are very hospitable, made my stay very pleasant.

L'hotel è ottimo sotto tutti i punti di vista. Personale cortese, eccellente confort, buona colazione ottima e abbondante, wi-fi efficiente, TV con molta scelta di canali. L'hotel è dotato di una buona palestra e di una piscina, ed è situato accanto a piazza Aznavour, nel centro di Yerevan; è particolarmente consigliato per gli Italiani, in quanto è collegato a un ristorante italiano, il Rossini (fra i migliori di Yerevan), la TV ha molti canali italiani e, nel personale, alcuni parlano italiano.

Posizione ottima, proprio a fianco di Aznavour Square. Servizio eccellente. Colazione ottima, buffet vario. Palestra buona, anche se non molto fornita. Abbastanza buona disponibilità di canali nella TV. Connessione a Internet molto buona. Il ristorante è forse uno dei migliori ristoranti italiani di Yerevan. Nel complesso si tratta di un'ottima scelta, forse la migliore della città se siete italiani.

Personalen mycket servicekunniga. Städpersonal som städade allt. Finfin frukost i västerländsk stil. Rummen fin inredning, air condition. Ligger mycket centralt. Rekommenderas varmt. Hotellet har en innergård som kallas för vinterträdgård. Varje kväll var det levande musik med piano, violin, tvärflöjt eller det armeniska stränginstrument som liknar cittra.
