My family stayed here over the Thanksgiving holiday (four nights total.) It was comfortable, convenient and a great fit for our needs.
Only minor complaint would be that we had to go to the front desk to get our own clean towels. Because it's an extended stay hotel, they only do housekeeping once a week, but it wasn't a huge deal and the staff was very friendly and accommodating.
The hotel is right across the street from a strip mall with everything you might need during your stay and the restaurant (not affiliated with the hotel) in the parking lot is really good if you don't want to cook.
I'd stay here again!
It was a very pleasant experience staying here. It surpassed my expectations. The hotel is clean, kept up and the staff was great. The pool is much bigger then the pictures show, I was impressed and the kids loved it.
My only concern was the annex building looked run down with what seemed to be full-time residents staying in it. We luckly were in the main building, and I'd recommend for everyone to specifically request the main building. Definitely will stay here again.
When I arrived at 8:30pm, I was told that they had overbooked the hotel. I was asked if I would go to a nearby hotel for a discounted rate. I agreed to go to the other hotel. To my dismay it was a lower quality hotel. I returned to the Holiday Inn since I had 3 more days in Yakima. After explaining that I would not rate the Holiday Inn highly in all categories due to the overbooking, the manager decided to pay for the night at the other hotel. I appreciated her generosity in this matter.
