Serves it's purpose well.

Pros: Convenient. The price is right.
Cons: For my needs, nothing.
Location: Grab a bite and get some gas.
This is the second time we stayed at the Budget Host Inn. We break up a trip to North Carolina by staying there over night. We usually arrive at midnight or later to get some sleep and shower in the morning. Check in is quick and easy and that's important when your really tired. The room is clean with a descent TV and wifi. In the morning there is coffee and breakfast. The people at desk are very friendly and professional. If you are traveling and need a place to stop, this is the place. Back your car to your door and it is very convenient. We will stay again and again.

Very good value for the price. This motel is well run, clean, and the staff are very pleasant.

Patrick at front desk is only staff with any enthusiasm. A little too laid back with the others.

OVER PRICED, MIGHT WORK MAYBE AS A LAST RESORT !!!

Posted 02-Sep-2014 on Hotels.com
Building was very old, but room was clean, The rooms are over priced because there is NO Refrigerator, NO Microwave, Air conditioner was very old but worked although it ran all the time and would not shutoff. The Continental Breakfast was in the hotel lobby where you check in, no where to sit down (very small). The owner was very nice to talk too. The place as a whole was very run down. Would I stay there again? "NO" Would I recommend it to others? "NO"

Just a quick night driving back from Florida

Cheaper than other places but if you are looking for a place to crash, just fine! And right near a Cracker Barrell!

Clean and quiet

Posted 13-Aug-2014 on Hotels.com
I was looking for one night stay while on the road. The hotel is really old, but it was clean. And, quiet. Probably due to every wall being cinderblock. LOL. But they were all painted beautifully, even with patterns. Breakfast was standing only and minimum, but sufficed for my eight-year-old, who is just looking for a bowl of cereal. The man who ran it was very nice and explained that he gave his staff twice the amount of time to clean the rooms than other hotels around it. I'm sure he was accurate. I call it quirky, but clean.

Good for the money spent

If your looking for fancy, this is not your place....however, it was very clean. I wasn't going to be there for long & so it was perfect for my situation. Two restaurants were nearby & within walking distance. You don't get perks here (no iron or coffee maker in the room...so heads up) but again, if you need a place to rest...then this is a good value.

Served the purpose for an overnight stay,

The continental breakfast was not the best in comparison with other motels but again it served the purpose. The coffee was good.

Low cost for old hotel

Posted 31-Jul-2014 on Hotels.com
If you don't mind staying in an old hotel for one night for a low rate, then you won't mind staying here. However, this hotel is something from the 1960s and needs alot of updates. Was clean though.

Better than expected

We booked this location as a sleeping point midway to our first vacation destination. It is small and cozy. We arrived after midnight and the gentleman at the desk was very helpful and friendly. The room was outdated - decor from the 70's - but it was exceptionally clean and probably the quietest hotel I have ever been in! The wireless internet worked seamlessly and with no connectivity issues, The bed was very comfortable and the pillows were firm, but fluffy. We'd stay here again!
