Always stay here on my working trip. No frills Hotel. Great rate and handy to most locations. Comfortable and quiet. In the middle of a spruce up. Always recommended.

Simple stay at Somerset
Older style Hotel. Rooms are always clean and comfortable. Regular stayer as convenient and price is always right. Only let down is no meals and stairs. Minor hurdles. Seabrooke down the road do lovely meals.

The room was clean and comfortable. The view was pleasing. It was very convenient to shops etc. Easy walk to the beach.

A nice enough place for the value. Nice room. Remember it's attached to a pub, so there might be noise. But the rooms are fine and in a nice area just outside Burnie. The showers have no power to them though, and it would be best if you stood out in the rain. Also it takes ages for the hot water to warm up, Don't get naked first! Overall worth the value

Mostly clean and comfortable. One window wasn’t sealed and so gusts of wind came in the room. Loud music went well past the advertised closing time of business one night. Bathroom newly renovated and lovely, but sink tap spurts water sideways. Premises does not cater for meals but gives good options elsewhere.

The windows sealed so badly they let so much air in the vertical blinds swayed in the wind constantly. The road noise was so bad the cars might as well have been driving through the room. The rooms have no soundproofing you could hear people in other rooms as if they were standing outside my door. Cheap accomodation but not when you don't get any sleep.

Super Somerset Stay
Excellent value for money. Great size room. Comfortable bed. Roomy bathroom. Even had microwave and cutlery. Also very quiet. Only thing missing was no meals at hotel at present. Highly recommended place to stay. Will be back.

The staff were friendly and accommodating. The room was clean and the beds comfortable. We were given all hours access to the hotel so we could come and go from the hotel while they were closed. For a last minute budget booking we were very impressed. Would definitely stay again. Thanks for having us.

The room was nice and location was great. Unfortunately the second night we were there they started playing music extremely loud at 9:30 and it didn’t stop until 12am which kept us up which was very frustrating. I expected some noise due to location but this was soo loud and disruptive. Otherwise it was a nice place to stay

I like staying at this hotel because it is quiet, cheap, convenient to Burnie, walking distance from a local IGA supermarket, and the room itself has an ensuite shower/toilet and small kitchen with sink, microwave and kettle. The bed linen is new and there is a small table for using a laptop.

The facilities in the single room were very good, with a kettle, microwave, sink and ensuite shower and toilet. I didn't use the television or free wifi. Also, the bed linen was new and the shower water flow was great. What was not so good was the mattress (a bit daggy), the lingering smell of cigarette smoke, and how difficult it was for my Telstra Bigpond wireless internet to work in the room. I'm not sure why, as it works normally elsewhere.

Very good for the price, the room was warm and freshly renovated. The bathroom was excellent especially the high powered shower! Only slight annoyance was the live music downstairs which dragged on beyond 11pm plus it was another hour or so before the last people left. Music is only on a Friday night apparently so any other night and I would assume it would be very quiet. Overall good value!

This hotel should receive a credit as to the quality of their accom, although the rooms are small they are lovely and airey and very well equipped. We certainly will be back again.

Rooms are newly renovated and are very comfortable. The only down side I could say is that there was no hanging space for clothing. Apart from that, I would say the rooms are excellent value for money!

Comfortable room, good bathroom, friendly staff. Meals a 1-minute-walk away. The Beijing Chinese restaurant was excellent. The only thing that was missing from the room was a rack to hang your clothing on. The soap pumps in the shower recess were hard to press, but the shower itself was good.

Nothing good Hear To start with i went into the Hotel on a Sunday afternoon to enquire about a late check in i was assured by a Staff Member that the Hotel would still be open for a 9.15Pm check in On arrival to Check in at 9.15pm the Hotel was in Darkness No contact numbers that worked was unable to contact anyone and was forced to sleep in car for the night !!!!!!!!!!! Not good enough not by far and to make things even worse the Room was discus ting Smelt Bad Close this place down Not fit for Humans

This was very unexpected. The room was fresh and clean, as was the bathroom. Only six rooms and we didn't hear or see anyone else. We stayed Thursday and Friday nights and on Friday night there was live music (which sounded great). It was finished at midnight, with very little other noise. A kettle, microwave and small fridge were in the room. Everything that was needed for a short stay.
