"This was a clean property but the price was not honest. I would not stay here again. I purchased the night through Expedia. Expedia gave me a price which I paid online. When checking out, I was charged more money as a "hotel tax." The person at the counter told me Expedia had just done a hold and the real price, which was more, was what they charged me. I did not put any charges on my room.
I accepted that, but was unhappy. I stayed at several other hotels on my trip and none of them charged me extra unless I put something on the room.
It's inappropriate and wrong. I would not have booked the room if I'd known the Expedia price was not correct.
If the booking says "pay at property" don't book it."
