Quiet Birthday Celebration
This property was beautiful and peaceful. The place was nicely decorated. For the property being pricey, the gravel parking lot and the unloading of luggage was very unexpected. One thing I can say is that we got in our steps while unloading. Next time we will bring our travel wagon. 😅. Other than that we enjoyed the stay!

UNIQUE & RELAXING GETAWAY
Peaceful stay in unique accommodations. Take in the town or stay put and relax, either way you can't go wrong. The property has everything you might need and more. The wifi is a bit spotty, if that's important to you. Definitely not a deal breaker for us. We enjoyed every moment!

Amazing Houseboat!
We had an amazing week on this beautiful houseboat!! After a long trip we were greeted by a basket of snacks and all the amenities you need to have a great holiday. The houseboat far exceeded our expectations and you cannot get better views than ones off the back deck. Kelly was great providing all the information needed, checkin and checkout were a breeze. We had a amazing time! I highly recommend renting Kelly and Patrick’s houseboat!

Paradise on Water!
Beautiful scenery, excellent relaxing location with awesome amenities! This place is wonderful, exactly as seen in the photos! The yachts were gorgeous to look at, great music and food from the Marina Grill and very peaceful in the evenings. The houseboat does rock when the water has waves, which can sometimes be calming! Loved the modern decor, it's impeccably designed! This was an a great bucket list item!!! The host are SUPERB!

Lovely stay
We traveled to Wilmington for our oldest son's college visit, and I've been eyeing this houseboat for a while. So glad my family was finally able to stay in it! It was beautiful appointed and so fun to stay on the water. What an experience! The hosts were incredibly responsive and friendly. We would definitely stay here again!

Amazing houseboat!!
All I can is that the pictures does not justify the experience nor the home enough. It was awesome! It was a surprise for my husband on Father’s Day weekend and he fell in love. The communication with the host was spot on as well. I still gave the trip a 5star although our only negative thing was parking during the concert that was going on the day when we arrived. The host told us where to park but the Marina was full and we listened to the port and concert Team of where to park and ended up getting a boot on our vehicle that costed us $160. I advised you to park in the parking deck and be sure to pay for it because it is Not free. But we did not let that ruin our trip although my husband was furious. I just want anyone else who rents to avoid getting booted because they are watching! Lol

Amazing place
The listing was accurate, the property was very clean, and communication with the owners was very easy. It was a very unique place to stay, and we were very very comfortable. About a 15 minute walk to the historic district, so very manageable without being right on top of all the noise. It is a quiet community, which we appreciated. As a bonus, the marina has live music on the pier in the summers on Friday nights and we had a blast listening to the concert from the deck, with the comfort of our own seats, food and beverages, and bathrooms. Would highly recommend and will definitely book again!

Family Weekend Getaway & Concert
The description and pictures of the property were spot on! Communication and responsiveness with the Patterson’s exceeded expectations. Marina location was very convenient to downtown Wilmington attractions. We stopped by the marina office to ask a question and the staff was very friendly and informative. Our teenager’s loved the house boat and have already asked when we will be going back. Very cool family getaway!

Great novel experience
We had a great time at this property, so much so, that we did a little research into investing in one ourselves. The location is perfect for walks on the river or to downtown. The property was clean and well stocked with whatever you could need for your stay. Sitting on the deck in the evenings was so peaceful. We will definitely do this again! Great host! Thank you!

Amazing Birthday Weekend Getaway
An absolutely incredible surprise birthday getaway. This setting is beautiful, clean, modern, well equipped, and in a perfect serene location. Everything from shopping to bars to restaurants are all walkable from the house boat and the owners are wonderful communicators. Kelly recommended 4 different restaurants for us and they were all amazing. The river walk, which was right outside your front door, was lovely. Loved the new experience of staying in a marina on a houseboat. Would return in a heartbeat.

A Perfect Get Away Property

Houseboat Vacation
This property is a great location downtown for walking to restaurants and shopping. The board walk is in close proximity and offers fishing, boat tours, and sightseeing. Great location to relax and and enjoy the sunrise/sunset that reflects beautifully off the water. This property looks like the advertisement and stocked with all your needs. This was our second stay and look forward to returning in 2023! Kelly responded quickly to all our inquiries.

Perfect location with great view
The houseboat was a great location, just far enough from the densest crowds, but close enough to walk to restaurants. The upstairs patio was great for lounging, and ended up being the perfect vantage point for fireworks on July 4th. Any questions I had about parking were quickly resolved with a message Kelly. We are already looking for a time to come back!

We came in for a concert and relaxing weekend. We were looking for private accommodations that were walking distance to the venue and downtown without being in the middle of craziness. This was IT!! The house was wonderful and so cute! It was clean, quiet and comfortable. The owners were very attentive and accessible. I will definitely stay again when I come back to Wilmington.

A Great Experience!
Staying on a houseboat was a first for me and my husband and we loved it! The property was immaculate and very nicely appointed. We loved spending time on the upstairs deck. Kelly is an outstanding host - very responsive and mindful of details. We appreciated the little toiletries, plush towels, and well-stocked kitchen (those wine glasses!)😀 The location is lovely and very convenient to all Wilmington has to offer. A++

Our family of 5 really enjoyed our stay. Everything in the house boat looked brand new, easy to walk to restaurants and along the river. The neighbors were great too! The upstairs porch is where we spent most of our time. The breeze was fabulous! We will definitely be back!

Unique staycation
My husband and I are local to Wilmington but stayed here for a 3-night getaway without kids since we haven't been downtown much in the past few years. We loved the unique experience of the houseboat and the proximity to restaurants., etc. downtown. The houseboat still felt (and smelled) brand new and was immaculately clean! We haven't traveled much since the pandemic and felt very comfortable staying here. Check-in and communication with the owners was quick and easy. The house was well-equipped with nice linens, towels and kitchen supplies. You really felt like you were on the water without the motion sickness and cramped feeling of a boat. The only negative was that one neighbor was partying a little loud one night until around midnight, and being so close together you can hear everything. However, we would definitely stay here again!

The houseboat was exactly as described online and perfectly depicted as well. It was so cozy and clean! We had so much fun walking and discovering the abundant restaurants, shops, and bars right there near the marina. We would not have had to even crank the car the whole weekend had we not wanted to. The owners were so accommodating and even went above and beyond for us since we were celebrating our 20th anniversary! I would not hesitate to give this five stars and have absolutely nothing to complain about! Love this home and can’t wait to stay here again!

We had a great experience staying on this houseboat! The place looks just like the photos. Clean, bright, great location close to downtown. We did get a crazy wind and rain storm one morning of our visit which was a little scary because the house was rocking and bouncing all over so if you’re prone to seasickness beware of the weather…but the house did fine and so did we. Would totally stay here again!

Loved this boathouse and loved the location! You are five minutes from everything in downtown and on the Riverwalk. It was a really spectacular location and views/ sunsets were beautiful from the second story balcony. We were worried we might feel the houseboat rocking but you really don't feel anything. It was clean and spacious with everything you need. The only downside is the walk from the parking lot to the boat, which is a bit of a haul when you have luggage or groceries (or small children). Maybe consider bringing a cart or maybe owners could provide one for the renter's use for an additional fee.

Best Place Ever
This was our first time staying in a house boat. We really enjoyed it and the views. The home was super clean and still had a brand new scent. We will definitely rent during the summer and winter months. Owners are super sweet and willing to go the extra mile if you have questions. The entire property is great!

Home on the Water!
Don't waste money on a hotel - this was 100% better. Two floors. Two bedrooms. Kitchen. Living room on first and second floor. Views for days. We had an amazing experience staying on the houseboat. We surprised the kids with our accommodations and they were thrilled. I have three boys (13,11,5) and we enjoyed the easy access to the Marina Grill, nearby restaurants, and the view - sunsets, water, yachts in the marina. The neighbors (one yacht and one houseboat) were super friendly and actually spent some time teaching my boys to fish. Fantastic experience - without a doubt 5 stars.

Unique experience
The houseboat was incredible! Very clean, well stocked, comfortable beds, etc. There is a hotel just across water and their bar has an outdoor area with a live band. The music carried across the water and was loud. Bring your own white noise if you retire early. The time spent here was well worth the cost, and gave a unique feel to our visit. Grat location for walking downtown. Highly recommend!
