Basic requirement of a place to sleep for a short stay is adequate but has nothing much to offer. Property is somewhat tired looking, probably hasn't seen any upgrades or refurbishment for awhile. A little out of the way from the town centre if one needs to have more dining options.

Great for an overnight stop over
Great hotel for an overnight stay on our way up North. Breakfast was amazing and wish we had dinner the night before in the restaurant.

Service with a smile
Another excellent stay here where you are well looked after from the moment you arrive until the moment you leave. This hotel is a little out of the city centre but only a 5 minute drive and worth it. Great rooms, service and yummy food!

I loved how it wasn’t so modern but it still looked beautiful the bed was very comfortable each meal we received from the hotel was delicious my baby even ate it and he’s fussy, one thing that was a worry for me was how slippery the bath was I almost slipped over a few times even with the mat in the shower it was more of a hazard than help but everything else I loved it will definitely come back again

Old fashioned customer service
This was a great stay. The Manager went out of her way to accommodate me, my late arrival, even ensuring I had a meal brought to my room. The next day allowed me to stay and work in the restaurant after checking out until my next appointment. A great new bed, simple but all you need room, it was a fantastic stay!

Property was great, it’s a little old but very well maintained. Staff were all super friendly. The only minus to us was having a shower over the bath, be nice to have that upgraded

Lovely, friendly and helpful staff. Spacious room, comfy bed with quality bedding. Showerhead was low, a bit annoying, but decent pressure. Quiet, not many guests around. Blackout curtains were helpful. Icebox and old icecubes in fridge need a good defrost, been there a long while by the looks of it. Bit pricey but did the job... would recommend if you get a good deal.

The main area is nice so i exspected the rooms to be just as nice but they were average Beds were comfy though Food was ok . Kids menu isnt great and the meals are quite plain my daughter eats well but did not enjoy any of the meals Also order a chicken alfredo and the chicken was off. Wasnt given an apology or nothing considering im pregnant they just offerd me another meal that i had to pay for. I wasnt happy with that honestly i wanted an apology . Over all id give it a 2 1/2

We do keep very high standards in our kitchen and take it seriously if there is a complaint. we thoroughly checked both your returned food and the rest of that batch of the chicken which is all dated and stored correctly and were satisfied that the chicken was not off. We are completely understanding that you did not enjoy your dish and were more than happy to replace it with your second choice. We sincerely apologize that you and your family did not enjoy their food

Flames is actually really nice. It’s gotten a bit of a bad rap in the past as being quite grotty but the rooms are very spacious, the bed is huge (king room), the bedding is off high quality and everything is very clean. The carpet, bathroom and tables were well maintained but a little old fashioned. Will definitely stay again in a heart beat

Just a very pleasant environment for a bit of break. The only downside was that the TV was a little small and I sure about whether you could stream things on it like Netflix.

Very tidy and clean. Good size room, excellent bathroom, great view from our balcony, clean pool and lovely outside seating areas. Friendly staff. Good access and parking. Highly recommended.
