Peaceful and Serene
We loved this home and the location right on the river. Quiet neighborhood in a small little town. The people were friendly wherever we went. It rained the whole time but that had no effect as we played games and sat on the spacious covered deck. The house is clean and fully stocked. A great vacation home.

Boys Mountain Bike Trip
We used this home as a home base for our annual fall mountain bike trip. Cogwild Shuttles picked us up every morning to ride the amazing trails of Oakridge. Between the back porch, the river to fish, the huge front yard to play lawn games, the garage to lock up bikes, it was perfect!

Beautiful house located by river. Great place for relaxing. Close to hot springs and lake. Not too far from Eugene, 45 minutes away. Owner is a very nice person. We would like to stay here when we come to visit this area.

It’s a jewel
Our stay was awesome. We caught 5 trouts from the river in the backyard, the fishing poles and everything you need for fishing is provided. Although we bought extra fishing items too. If you have some picnic chairs you may want to take it with you to put by the river. It’s a clean place and has everything you need. Property being so big makes the place so unique. Thank you Debbie for being so prompt with your responses. We hope to come back.

WOW, this was a wonderful little gem of a place with the river right outside the door! Chefs kitchen with not a thing missing to cook or bake a family meal. All of the beds were very comfortable and the house was stocked with multiple linens, towels, very clean pillows. She even had doggie beds and dog bowls. What a delightful time this was! Very clean as well. All you need if your clothing and toothbrush. I always bring linens, cookware, silverware my small Dyson, because usually we never know what we are getting into, but this place had everything we needed. It's a beautiful drive back to Eugene so it didn't feel far at all. and the lakes and falls around you are tremendous! this is a must stay for us when visiting the area. Debra is one of the most kind and caring host we have ever encountered. enjoy!

Quaint Beautiful location
Spacious lots of room for entertaining. Good fishing and views. Well stocked home has just about everything you need. Owners are easy to communicate with. Really enjoyed my stay and great spot to spend time with family. Definitely coming back.

It was easy to find. The property is beautiful. The river is right behind the house with stairs to reach it. There is a nice swing hung from a tree that was nice. The home is spacious and clean. With every thing you could need. Even things like spices and condiments.

Beautiful yard, well managed home.
The house and backyard is great! The surrounding area isn't the best but people stick to themselves. Rays grocery is a bit expensive but the quality is good. Mountain pizza was great, totally recommend. Deb is easy to get a hold of for any needs! The river is great and not for young kids. There is a bank you can walk on or set up chairs on maybe but it was still not hot enough outside to stay in it long. The house got really hot, the wall unit couldn't keep up with the heat. This could have been from my incompetence on the units but even with the unit running it still was pretty hot. I hope they put new blinds up in the master room. The other rooms were nice and the kids room held all the games, puzzles and books. Our dogs obsessed over the yard and loved running everywhere. Just be careful as there is poisonous plants that will cause them to itch crazily. Deb is supper friendly and accommodating! The plants and flowers are beautiful! Love the custom swing as well! Tons of dinnerware and silverware as well. Thank you for a great stay Deb! Hope to stay here again if we ever are in the area

Christmas Holiday on the River
Great location on large lot on Willamette River. House was very clean and fresh with very comfortable furniture and beds, with an awesome kitchen. Many windows allowed for great views of river from inside of house. Everything met or exceeded expectations. Snow on Christmas Day was like a dream come true.

The River out back is beautiful, the house is cute and comfortable and very clean. We love the small touches that make our stay easy. This is our second time to stay here and we really love it. It is right on the river and so peaceful. The beds are great and the pantry well stocked. Be sure to visit the Deep Woods Distillery downtown for a fun tasting. We hope to be back soon.

Great Spot to Relax in Oakridge
The place was better than advertised. A big plus was being near the river and sitting on the porch in the morning to work before we rode. The place was clean, easy to find, and we appreciated the lot being fenced. The coffee maker was top notch - same one we have in the office, and there were filters to boot. Lots of little touches made this a 5-star stay. The only small difficulty we encountered was getting bikes in and out of the old barn/work area as it has a very small door - but that was no big issue. We look forward to staying there again on a return trip.

A fairy tale property
This is a very special property, and we spent most of our time outside, listening to the river. Everything was super clean and the house was appointed with everything we could possibly need to make our stay pleasant! Very dog friendly as wel. We loved it here and will definitely be back!

I was amazed of how beautiful and clean the house was it had everything we needed , we enjoyed sitting in the back porch watching the river the puppy loved that he had lots of space to run!! This home is very cozy and relaxing. The pictures don't do the home justice as it's much bigger and nicer than shown. It was a joy to sit out on the porch, listen to the river and catch up with our family. The home is pretty friendly which was a big plus. Definitely would stay here again!

Great Location for Riding the Epic Oakridge Trails
We had a great time staying at Westfir, it was amazing location, right next to the river, and a perfect base for biking adventures in Oakridge. I would defintely recommend staying here! We used Transcascadia as our shuttle service, and they picked us up from the property :)

What a relaxing place to stay. Cute, clean, great for our dog and right on the river. Debra and her house cleaner are very attentive. Ladies, you know what we are talking about😂. We spent most of our time on the deck, listening to the river. We had a fabulous time and will definitely be back!

On The River in Oakridge OR
My wife, a friend and our two labs had a wonderful three day stay in Oakridge/Westfir. We were there to mountain bike and hike. Our entire experience was very positive. The River Front Cottage was a great place to stay. The master bedroom was separated nicely from the other bedrooms providing plenty of space in these difficult COVID-19 times. Debbie was great to work with and always responsive. Our labs loved to go down to the river which was readily accessible just behind the house. The blackberries were ripe and delicious. We will be back!

Great spot on the river
This is the second time we have rented this house. We lived in Oakridge 25 years ago and this is where the family liked to get together. There's a great covered porch and a yard. highly recommend it.

Family friendly retreat
We loved being right on the river and so central to everything we wanted to do in the Oakridge area. Kitchen was so well stocked with supplies that we were even able to make a cobbler with the blackberries we picked along the river bank. My nephew loved the games and coloring book and there were even toys for our dog. Debbie was so easy to communicate with and let us know well in advance that the cable wouldn't be working during our stay. We had a great time!

Quiet location on the river
We thoroughly enjoyed our time spent at the house. We met another couple there who had their motor home, and there was more than enough room to accommodate it on the property. I must admit we spent the bulk of our time on the back patio enjoying the sounds and view of the river, so we did not fully utilize the house itself other than to sleep. The neighborhood was quiet, so we felt very comfortable out back playing board games, BBQing and visiting. We did take some time to visit uptown and enjoy the museum, wandered around Greenwater Park, visited the fish hatchery, and drove around several of the forest service roads taking in the unspoiled beauty. The bed was very comfortable, and the kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed for meal preparation. We plan to return to the house again in the future when we can stay a little longer. I highly recommend the house for your stay.

Great View of River
We enjoyed seeing and hearing the river! It is a very pretty spot. The home was described well. It was very clean, lovely and comfortable. Everything seemed fresh and new. The kitchen was well supplied. The hosts were very responsive and welcoming. We enjoyed visiting hiking trails and waterfalls in the area. The we ended up with some rainy time during our vacation and it was so nice to gather my family in the comfy home to play games and visit.

Life Memories Made here
Loved staying here for 5 weeks with my family to show them where I grew up. Property was great location and amenities. My only suggestions would be that the Master Bedroom needs a dresser and a light attached to the light switch. I would also (if it were me) get rid of the 90's TV and Dish Network and buy a cheap ($150 at Walmart) 40 in TV with build in ROKU so folks can use their streaming services; the Dish Network didn't work for me anyhow. You might want to add checkout procedures in the 'house guide book'. Other than that - had a wonderful time, place was clean; loved the electric fence for your pets and the car port. Hope to return.

Great Spot for MTB Weekend
Debbie's home was a great spot for our group of 6 to stay for a weekend of mountain biking in Oakridge. Well supplied kitchen, comfortable beds, outdoor hose for washing bikes and a covered carport for doing bike maintenance between rides. Caught a rainbow trout right from the backyard!

Mostly enjoyable!
The house was lovely but the deck and view of the Willamette River was magnificent! Loved the updated kitchen, central air conditioning, the spaciousness of 3 bedrooms and 2 full baths. The down side was the number of folks who walked across the property to access the river. The owner was notified and Debra was extremely apologetic and is working toward a solution.

Beautiful riverside location, lots of room, great back deck.
Very nice house with large covered back deck 50 yards from the river. We saw trout jumping out of the water to catch insects! Excellent modern kitchen, comfortable beds, good bathrooms, we'll stay here again.

Best sleep I've had in a while.
