It's ok but the room wasn't that clean and the sheets were awful.

Quieter location, but not far from town

Posted 23-Jun-2014
Pros: quiet location, usual free breakfast
Cons: carpark discount rate is not good enough - It was actually cheaper to buy the weekend pass than to pay the discounted rate.
Location: the armouries museum is next-door, shortish walk takes you towards the city centre.
The Armouries location is slightly away from the city centre, but it is not a long walk into town ( 20 minutes at most ) The biggest pain with most hotels in Leeds City centre is car-parking and this one is no exception, you have to park in the multi-storey next-door at a cost. Rooms, breakfast, staff all upto the expected Holiday Inn Express standard, no surprises If you wander around the Armouries square, you will see lots of built but not occupied shops/bars etc.

Pros: Convenience and no traffic noise.
Cons: Breakfast adequate but repetitious if staying longer.
Easy taxi ride from the railway and room provided was quiet and clean with all necessary services.

Comfortable, central and easy parking arrangements

Posted 20-May-2014
Pros: Convenience to town centre and reasonable price. Room comfortable.
Cons: Breakfast (range on offer).
Location: Good for the middle of the city.
We needed a central location in Leeds which was comfortable and reasonably priced. This hotel was perfect in all these respects. Breakfast is a bit basic self service but quite adequate. Pleasant and helpful staff. We would use it again.

Clean and tidy , good location

All the staff were pleasant , friendly and helpful when catering to our needs. It is certainly value for money and worth every penny. A good budget hotel. You have to walk about 15 minutes to the main shops and bars in Leeds however this is a small price to pay for it's quite location set against the waterway of Leeds . It is ideally situated for the Royal Armouries which is next door. The hotel is easy to drive to ( just follow signs for the Royal Amouries). There is a drop off point too, not that obvious ( it does not say drop off ) but it is past the car parks to the rear of hotel. Luggage store is provided which is essential so you can make the most of your last day. I cannot comment about the car park as I used an alternative one across City which I have use of.

Family friendly.

So much to do. Armouries kept the kids occupied for hours and the outside space was perfect for their scooters. Staff couldn't do enough!

Decent hotel

A basic hotel but served it's purpose as a good overnight stay close to centre of Leeds bars and restaurants. Complimentary breakfast was an added bonus.

Nice location, next to armouries and river.

Posted 10-Mar-2014
Pros: Staff very helpful.
Cons: Make sure you're aware of the parking.
Location: The Leeds Amouries Museum was excellent and an added bonus of a walk along the canal/river and places to eat around the corner.
Lovely staff and very comfy beds. Breakfast was a pleasant surprise as hot and cold food was available. Very handy for the museum and that was a brilliant visit. Be careful with parking though as the local land owners are out to get ya.

Good hotel - next to city centre

Posted 03-Mar-2014
Pros: locality, cleanliness and polite staff
Cons: room temperature and more choice breakfast menu
Location: Already done it - see above
Good hotel next to Leed Armouries and closely located to waterfront restaurants and bars. It is also wlthin easy walking distance of the City Centre. The hotel looked modern, clean and comfortable. Our room was a little on the cold side and we were unable to change the temperature. The breakfast was nice but a little limited in choice.
