I was charged by hotels.com for the room I booked on September 7th for September 7th to September 8th 2023. I arrived 30 something minutes late. And then the other 30 minutes the clerk what took explaining to me why she had to cancel my reservation and charged me $90 for the room and told me that because it was after midnight that it their system immediately rolls over to the next day which means officially when I paid for the room and had to pay $90 for it I paid for September 8th through September 9th however that's not how they made it they made it as I checked in on September 7th and I had to check out on September 8th and gave me until 12:00 to do so at 12:00 they not beating on my door woke me up and in commits to telling me that do I want them to help me move my things out into the rain and I'm not even awake so I asked him can I just book the room again because there's no way you know I I wouldn't even awake I've been traveling with my sister who has stage 4 cancer.. so I was super tired. that said I asked her how come since the system rolled it over to the next day meaning that since I was 30 something minutes late that I was checking in actually on the 8th of September and checking out on the 9th but that's not what my receipt showed it showed check in on the 7th check out on 8th okay then I give them my credit card to go ahead and recheck me for for the 8th again and this time the receipt come back showing that it was like $170 not only that I was charged 3 times!

Dear Ms. Manley, First and foremost we are truly sorry about the confusion in regards to your reservation. Our desk clerk checked you in as a walk-in. In regards to the online reservation that was made through hotels.com, that money can be refunded to you once you contact them and explain what had happened. We allowed you a late check out at 12 PM. Housekeeping knocked on your door a little after 12 PM to see if you were checking out or staying another night. You decided to stay with us another night. The total amount that was charged to you by us including the tax (and the pet fee) was 168.68. We have only charged you twice for the 2 nights you stayed with us. Again, in regards to the night that you booked with hotels.com, you would have to contact them directly.Thank you for your stay with us. Dana P.Manager

Shower head at about 5 ft., low water pressure,faucet in sink about to fall off, vent in bathroom disgusting,wall outlets did'nt work,light at bed was dim, no cover on remote so batteries kept falling out, carpets need a good cleaning. No breakfast anymore "because of covid".

Room 133...no coffee pot, called desk and said she could t bring one but i could come get it, ac barely worked, the cover to ac was falling off, bathrrom floor dirty, holes in bathroom walls. But was cheap and great location. No breakfast or coffee in lobby as advertisemnet stated breakfast.

It is close to alot of resteraunts and stores. Old run down rooms and smells. Poor water pressure in the shower. No coffee or anything in the morning.

Check in was fine, when i went to my room, the door was open and there were no towels. I didnt have time to stop at the front desk amd say anything due to a time crunch on needimg to get to a baseball game. I stopped at the front desk that night to ask for towels, the attendant asked me to come back in 30 or 45 minutes, it was close to midnight, because housekeeping wasnt there and she had to track towels down. I get to my room and there is a bag of towels tied on the knob. Pretty sure there were at least 2 drug deals going down out in the parking lot, people playing music really loud at about 12:30 am, right below our rooms.

Dear guest, Thank you for your review. In regards to the your door being open housekeeping was still working on the guest rooms upon your check in. Towels were put on your door because the front desk attendant had rented the room and the housekeeper did not want to bother you. If extra towels were requested the front desk clerk should have gotten you some but due to it being quite busy she might have gotten distracted and do apologize for that. In regards to the noise we do apologize about that as well as we had some workers staying at our hotel and truly sorry if they were being a nuisance. We hope you can give us another try in providing a better experience.

Dirty skunk rooms
First the pictures on the website and reality do not match up. This place looked terrible. I asked for two non smoking rooms, one room smelled like a skunk and the other room was for smokers had a do not disturb sign on the door a The girl running the front desk told us just to knock on the door and see if anyone was in there. We turned our keys and left. I’m still waiting to here back from hotels.com if they will refund my money.

DIRTY AND SKETCHY
This was the most disgusting, dirty room I have ever walked into. First thing I noticed was something wet and sticky looking on the bed spread. I Immediately went and turned the keys in and left. Waste of money since I paid online and can't get a refund.

Anticipating a good day on this past sunday, we came to Monroe for a baptism of a terminally ill kid. The hotel from the get go, upon driving up, was in poor condition and upkeep on the outside to the inside of the hotel. I must say whoever used photoshop to show the so called beauty of this address did a really good job. The pictures really do it some good. Besides having to deal with constant drug activity, the straw that broke the camel's back was around 8 pm when all hell broke out with a parking lot fight. What we found out was that this hotel allowed over age adults bring 13 and 14 year old girls to the hotel to party. We know this for a fact because the young girls were located next to our room. There was vomit on the second floor where no one could walk without avoiding it. The family fight that broke out. Also being in law enforcement, the illegal constant drug activity....lets just say... this is not a family oriented place. You get what you pay for, when you are limited on hotels in the area because of occurring events. To finalize the check out receptionist was nice..but her father, grandmother or whoever it was that spoke with a tractemotomy was a 10/10 on rudeness when it came to the next morning for trying to check out and reporting what all happened the night before.

If any such thing is happening at our hotel we immediately call law-enforcement. I wish you would have reported this to our front desk clerk immediately rather than upon check out. We would have reported this to the local police. In regards to the “rudeness” are and countered upon check out I am sorry for that and he should have not interfered when you were discussing the night with our desk clerk.
