Nice stay, a few minor quirks
Older property. Hot water in shower slow and doesn’t get hot. Refrigerator freezes everything. Very few of machines in weight room worked. A little expensive. Too many add on fees

We are sorry to see this review. The shower water does get hot, just need to turn the handle the correct way, should be obvious but it happens. Guest never reached out. We did have the freezer defrosted, we hadn't known prior. There is a $35 cleaning fee, and a $20/day resort fee charged at the front desk - which is noted in the property description. We promise you will love this amazing place, and you can trust all is taken care of!

OBB stay.

A Really Great Value at West End Old Bahama Bay
I had a wonderful stay at this great condo for much less cost than a regular unit at Old Bahama Bay. And it was the best unit there in any case, with the best location, best privacy, and all the amenities as described by the owner! A daily fee of $20 paid to the resort also gave me all the amenities of the resort itself, and I was able to use the small but excellent kitchen unit to prepare nearly all my meals, as a way to save even more during my stay! Very highly recommended! The owner always responded to my questions immediately and was available to help by text at any time. Everything was as good or better than he described in our initial discussions. I will come again, and I am looking forward to bringing my family next time!

Husbands 60th birthday
The view from our room was spectacular and the beds were very comfy but the place was not kept clean floors were very dirty and when we asked to clean them we were told it would cost 35 dollars yet we just got there. Only one tiny thing of shampoo and conditioner that last one day if needed more we were told 35 dollars for that and more toilet paper. One can of beer at restraunt is 15 dollars and it’s the only place at this resort to drink. Also all the grills were we thought we could grill our catch had no propane and we were told they could not provide any. The food at the restaurant is excellent but limited menu and we were here for 5 nights. The fridge in our room barely kept stuff cool and the Marina had no ice to give us and the restaurant said they could not even give me a glass of ice. I would not have stayed here had we known all this and my husband was very disappointed in his 60th birthday get away.

Breathtaking view of the Ocean
We enjoyed the Villa. The views of the Ocean were gorgeous. The grounds were manicured and the Coconut Trees were beautiful. The beds were very comfortable and the room was very roomy. I just wished we had a wash/dryer in our room. we will definitely be back.

Beautiful getaway at the tip of west end grand bahama. My wife and I have been staying at old bahama bay for 10 years and Shawn’s condo is one of the best kept units we have stayed in. Highly reccomend booking with him!

A VERY Nice Location
This condo offers a truly spectacular view of the bay. The beds are big and comfortable. We even did some simple cooking (eggs in the morning) with the kitchenette items provided. My wife and I would definitely stay here again.

quiet vacation
The location is top notch. View is awesome. Great sea life in bay. Property is dated. Water went out twice while there. Front door lock needed adjustment as the door was just open twice while there. Kind of scary at night.

Week Long stop via boat
We had a great week at Old Bahama Bay. We cooked on their grills the fresh fish that we caught along with lobster that we bough off the docks. We also bought some fresh bread and tarts from a local woman in the evenings. The pool and tiki bar was great also. The quality of the food in the restaurant was top notch. All of the employees of the resort were extremely helpful and nice!! We visited Paradise Cove to snorkel and loved it!!! Overall, a great week.

The view was spectacular I loved it.
It was very windy couldn’t use the Poole, go in the water or played any of the games outside. When the weather was better it was time to leave. The downside is the facility has a mandatory charged for amenities whether or not used.

Non-existent Housekeeping
When we checked in the room was filthy. There were at least 15 empty beer bottles everywhere and the beds were unmade. After walking back and having a new room assignment the lady from the front desk walked us to another room. She asked us to wait outside for 5 minutes while she “checked everything over”. This was enough time to make the beds and and straighten up the room. There was no way the sheets were changed or towels replaced. One of the towels still felt damp. The smell of the pillows were so bad it woke me up if I happened to turn on my side. We have stayed here at least 10 times, but this was by far the worst experience. We won’t be back.

Came by boat from Jupiter, FL. Very quiet and close to the white sand beach. Bought a fresh loaf of banana bread from a local lady on the docks for coffee and the unit even had a toaster! You must snorkel Memory Rock! Fished White Sound area and caught bonito, barracuda, blackfin tuna, yellowfin tuna and mackeral. Thanks Shawn! We had a relaxing July 4th!

Rent Shawn’s Old Bahama Bay Condo!
Old Bahama Bay in West End Grand Bahama is magical! Maybe the best kept secret in the region. And Shawn’s condo there is as close to the white sands and the Atlantic Ocean as you can get without getting wet. Truly beautiful location, occupied and served by amazing personalities. It’s a solid changer. So much so that the mental pistons are turning on how to move there. The condo is spotless, modern and comfortable. The pool is awesome. Hanging out nightly at the marina bar/resraraunt fed a one of a kind experience. Wild sting rays, the worlds top tiger shark whisperers, and more. Can’t wait to go back. You must get Old Bahama Bay on your vacation list.

Great Experience
From the start the communications of the property owner was very responsive and helpful. This is a very nice resort and this particular unit was great. It is the closest unit to the ocean and it was wonderful to wake up to this view every morning. We did not have the best weather but there are quite a few activities to do on the resort. We enjoyed multiple meals at Dockside Grill overlooking the harbor. Overall it was a great experience. Thank you so much for sharing this little piece of heaven with us Shawn and I will definitely be back at some point. Aristha

AIl I can say is you’re in the Bahamas and the accommodations are awesome .
Been over to Old Bahama Bay four times this year. By far this was the nicest unit we booked and the property managers / owners are great to deal with. Unit is located close to the marina which makes it great for boaters. Thanks to the owners for working around our schedule or days got pushed around due to weather and they were more than accommodating on helping us move our date for a safe crossing home. That was our last trip of the year due to winter, but we will definitely book with them when summer rolls around again. We did Catch five nice wahoo this trip. Thanks again to the owners
