“Beware of train behind hotel!”

I have to give props to the staff - they were extremely friendly. The hotel was a little outdated but it was clean and the location was good enough. My only gripe is that I didn't know there is a train track literally right behind the hotel (I would estimate approx. 75 feet from our back door). We didn't notice that the train ran at night but when it was running during the day is was fairly loud.

“Good Location, Good Price”

Was pleased with cleanliness and layout of room, nice big clean bathroom. TV wasn't the best but we were only there one night so it wasn't a big issue. Would be if there for more than one night stay.

“Adequate for Wenatchee”

The rooms were very nice, The restaurant and lounge were OK. Breakfast was pretty typical buffet. Dinner menu was laughable. Both facilities closed at 8 PM - not enough traffic.

“My Terrible Experience with Expedia and Red Lion.”

I will never use Expedia or Red Lion again for any travel needs. After a mistake on reservations, with 24 hours notice, couldn't cancel, no refund or "rain check". I will go to priceline from now on!!!

“Great Hotel”

Great hotel for a good price! I enjoyed my stay.

Area recommendations

I enjoy the Downtown area. Old brick buildings by the River, with the mountains backdrop. I wish they would turn some of the downtown buildings into upscale B&Bs.

“Ingrequest Travelor to Wenatchee”

The hotel room was clean and nice to say in, however, the clerks at the front desk were suppose to bring up a wireless bridge because the signal in my room was very week. I waited 20 minutes and no response, so I went down to pick it up myself. The clerks were talking among themselves and seem to have forgotten my request and their response, "I'll bring it right up." The Hotel i s located in central Wenatchee and convenient to most places. I have stayed here before and the service was much better previously. They were painting the lobby and the fumes from the spray paint was quite strong.

“Scary awful!!!”

It is very scary to walk into a dark hotel room ... at the far end of a hotel ... late at night -- only to find someone else already there in bed. Second, hotels should never put a guest into a "handicapped" room without checking. Those are not comfortable rooms unless you actually need them.
