“Very good choice...!!!”
This is a very convenient and really nice place to stay. I just didn't like that you can hear everything that comes from the hallways...
“Poor customer service”
Several requests were not taken care of after repeated requests. Charges on bill that were not mine.
“Quite a pleasant stay”
The Mayflower is a real gem in the hotel industry. They make you feel at home and welcome.
“Truly Amazing - great service, wonderful location, very opulent and reasonably affordable”
The room was very nice, always clean, and had a nice view of the street to look out upon. The bathroom was very lavish and my guest and I were very impressed by the overall ambiance of the hotel from our room to the dining hall. Amazing hotel with plenty of history, which is why I'd honestly stay here again if I return back to D.C. anytime soon. Loved it.
“History and class”
This is a grand and historic hotel. All facilities are immaculate and the public areas are a sight to behold. Location very central and a metro station on the same block. Service quite slow in lobby bar and breakfast buffet was unimpressive, but we will go back.
“Very Impressed”
The concierge was wonderful! She assisted us in getting to our destination each day efficiently and safely. She went above and beyond to assist us in getting six 12 year olds to the gym to play basketball. The service of the entire staff was excellent. The hotel is conveniently located near a Metro stop and there are plenty of amenities in the vicinity. The business district was very clean and safe. Very nice stay. Highly recommend.
“A Wonderful Washington Landmark Hotel”
Great historic hotel, elegant and yet comfy. The staff is excellent. Our heat/AC unit went out and they sent someone to replace it immediately and within fifteen minutes they had it going. Just minutes from so many places. Very impressed!
“Washington icon”
Closed to Washington Icons, metro station and everything you need, Chinatown a plus a George town you have to go, business or pleasure a good spot. City bikes shares is the best way to see the city.
“Winderful experience”
I loved the hotel..very nice people at the desk willing to help. Great location. Metro station close by , restaurants and cvs in the area. Fast check in and check out. White house is 4 blocks away. Overall great experience in this hotel.
“Staffs are really nice and very accomodating..”
Its a great hotel and the staff(especially the lady concierge ,Im sorry I forgot her name) are really nice and friendly.. We had a big room and very comfortable bed. The Metro is only few feet away, its so easy to go to downtown. The only thing is theres no view but otherwise, its a great hotel!
