This is the second time we stayed there for a dance competition. They are updating the rooms and i got to stay in one! It was so nice. We had an older room last year but it was so clean. We will definitely keep bookings there!

The two ladies at the front desk were friendly and pleasant. Once you walk it you feel welcomed. Rooms were cleaned.

We didn't light the light shining through the closed blinds from an outdoor spotlight and under the door and the noise from the lobby and the HVAC unit shutting on and off.

I am a picky business traveller who travels twice a month to the Forked River area. This hotel is the best value for the cost. It’s not fancy but, it’s clean, safe, easy to get to and to park, there are services close by. I read reviews where guests complained about “robes and slippers”, “breakfast”, etc. when this small hotel does not offer this. I’m a lawyer and I read all the terms and I got exactly what I paid for. GJA

Set back from Route 9 in a building that doesn't look much like a hotel or motel. Not much to see outside the windows. In March it was off-season and the hotel was quiet, with room renovations ongoing for a number of the other rooms. Our room had good space and the furnishings were in good shape. The staff was friendly. No problems. Compared to other motels in the Ocean County area, it is an excellent option as a place to stay that is not at or very close to the beach.

We are having some home remodeling done and needed a place during the day. The room and bathroom were very clean. Staff always greeted you.

We can assure you they are actual pictures of the rooms, hotel & surrounding areas. ID not asked for upon check in. Bedroom door does not close properly. There is a large gap where hall light is visible. Room was clean and adequate but it did not live up to its online pics or description. No soundproofing between rooms.

Very friendly staff, very clean and beds were very comfortable!! Convenient location multiple restaurants across the street. Easy access from the GSP. Rooms are small but have everything you need for a nights stay. Would recommend

Kind, helpful staff, Scott especially. There are some dining options right on route 9, a mile or so each way. Comfy beds, nice little patio. I feel very at home.

The place was very clean. The staff helpful and friendly. There are no staff in the building between midnight and 8AM. And the front door is locked during that time period. The front door cannot be opened from outside with a room key and can be opened from the inside with the turn of a latch. But it is not a push bar exit. I am surprised that this meets fire code in Waretown.

John-We're glad you enjoyed your stay with us. These are our winter hours. There are instructions posted on the front door inside & out on where to exit when the front desk is closed. The back side has a door that the guests use to exit, otherwise you can go right out the back of your hotel room if you are on the bottom floor. If not, simply come downstairs and exit the side door. We also have 18 cameras on the property and an employee that is 2 minutes away on the property. I can assure you the hotel is safe and monitored continually. Take care.Front Desk Team-

They had updated rooms, tvs, microwave and mini fridge. The front desk area was clean and the people working were nice. The only minor complaints were the faint smell of smoke in the room and the shower head needs to be replaced or something because the water pressure wasn’t a lot

Amanda-Thank you for the kind review. This is as you know a non-smoking hotel, but sometimes the smoking guests are forgetful and leave their back doors open while smoking. We'll try harder to prevent that. Also the shower heads do have water savers on them, but we will certainly take into consideration adjusting or changing them out. Rude staff, the hotel was basically empty I was put in a room on the second floor, no elevator. I asked to be moved to another room on the first floor, I was told no because I was staying 5 nights and they could not move me because they were booked full! They were empty! I had to end my stay one day early, I gave the manager a 40 hour notice and she refused to refund my last night. She claimed the hotel policy states no refunds on the website, it does not. Also, no staff after midnight. Front lobby is locked and you must go out the emergency only exit if you need to leave before 8am. The alarm on the door is not activated. The old heater in the room was loud and inefficient. I would never recommend this place

We believe this is a reaction to you being denied the refund you asked for without cause. The only thing we will say to all of this, is that it is absolutely false. We are sorry that you felt the need to blast us online for untrue accusations. We will always try to accommodate the guests in every way we can, unfortunately this time was not the case. This was a very nice property, updated, clean and well maintained. The staff were all very nice. It would be nice is there was a continental breakfast included. The outside surroundings are the only downside. We would definitely stay again. Thank,you.

As for the breakfast, after Covid we were told we couldn't have anything out for consumption without making adjustments to our kitchen area, in which we have no available space for that at the present time.As for our surroundings we are working jointly with the other businesses for a possible make over, in which we already started to implement. This hotel is safe, clean and has a friendly staff. Unfortunately the restaurant in the building adjacent to hotel closed. There are several casual dining spots nearby plus a supermarket.
