"For those who are looking to luxuriate in the onsens of the Kii península… This is a place not to be missed. The cave onsens, especially, were both gorgeous and healing… The other ones perhaps a bit rundown, but still quite a treat. The staff were great (and multi-lingual) and my room was squeaky clean. Highly recommend "

"Hotel is next to Rinku outlet mall and 1 train stop from the KIX airport. Good if you plan to do shopping or stop over. Some eateries around but they close early, about 8 pm. Self check via automated machine. Seems more hotels are going this route in Osaka. We booked the bigger room with kitchenette. It came with a washing machine/dryer. The air con/heating is controlled centrally, i.e., it is either air con or heating. You cannot choose. As we were there in March and it was still quite cold, not an issue for us. I imagine it will be an issue between the cold and hot seasons. Room was clean and beds comfortable. No complaints there. "

"A very special property. More of an oasis inside the city than a “hotel”. An easy simple walk, even with luggage, from JR Rail/Bus drop off. Compared to the tiny hotel rooms of Tokyo, Yokohama you will not believe how spacious Dormy Inn’s rooms can be. Make sure to take advantage of their wonderful casual breakfast. The buffet has plenty of Japanese and Western offerings. And if you take advantage of the genuine onsen the pampering continues. We are grateful for the hospitality we enjoyed during our all too brief stay."
