"Have stayed a few times over the years, the room was nice, but could do with a make over, and the shower needs something doing with it, it isn't a walk in shower, more like a climb in. Food in the restaurant was delicious, even though there wasn't a big choice, it was all delicious, the chef even made fresh apple sauce for one of the party. Hopefully next time we stay, we will see a difference min the room "

"Charming village location when I booked I thought we were in st Ives town but glad we were in Houghton as did a lovely circular walk to st Ives from here. Full of character this pub was cosy and welcoming. Great breakfast too."

"We have just spent an amazing 5 nights here with friends ageing from 48 - 72 and a 14 year old. Carl was brilliant in communicating with me when I booked for the group and met us with a warm welcome on arrival. He gave a tour of the house giving us all the information we needed.
