Had a very good experience. Top marks to the staff - they were extremely friendly, courteous and best of all, very prompt. The hotel is also well located wrt diving activities and so on. We thought the bathrooms were a little small with dicey drainage, but thats a minor quibble. Definitely recommended. 9/10.

Our stay at the Savoy was an incredible experience from start to finish. Everyone we encountered was helpful, knowledgeable, friendly, & incredibly competent. We arrived earlier than expected & were easily & cheerfully accommodated with an early check in. Unexpectedly we were given a lovely upgraded room with a western facing extended balcony where we watched the sun set each evening. Isabelle, who checked us in, was our hero all weekend long. We were just sad we didn't see her after our check in to thank her once again. The men working at the concierge desk were very helpful & gave very accurate advice when we asked about hiking & snorkeling on our own. We used the outdoor facilities at the Spa as well as a free group yoga class, both of which we enjoyed very much. The hotel sits right on the beach, at what is (in our opinion) the nicest spot along the beach, is located within very close easy walking distance to 3 great restaurants - the Marek, Le Plage, & The Boathouse. There are beautiful, fun, funky places to sit throughout the hotel grounds where guests can sit & read books borrowed from the well stocked hotel library. I loved finding sparking wine, cheeses, salmon, nuts & fresh fruit at the breakfast buffet & we loved that we were able to order fantastic lattes to go with it at no extra charge. Our trip to the Seychelles was given as a gift. We wondered before arrival if we'd picked the right hotel for this once in a lifetime experience.Once we arrived we had no doubt.
Hotel was located right on the beach. Breakfast was varied and of good quality with the breakfast rooms looking over the ocean. The rooms were a good size (but no sofa nor work desk - not a complaint, just an observation to give an idea of size of rooms). Bed was comfortable with good linens. Furniture and decor had a modern feel. Pool was closed for renovations but option to use pool at hotel next door if you preferred that to the beach. Reception service was pleasant but very slow. Some reception staff appeared new as were uncertain of a number of details. I would be happy to return and recommend.

A truly amazing holiday. Location was perfect - watching the sunset every night on one of the most beautiful beaches has created wonderful memories. The rooms were cleaned every day and bedding/towels changed daily. The staff were very friendly as are all the people in the Seychelles. Breakfasts were great!
"Lovely view and appreciated the privacy/seclusion."
The room was spacious and had a beautiful view of the beach which was merely a skip away from the hotel. The shower door was broken but everything else was perfect. I will definitely come back to the same hotel if we pull in to this island again.
We as a couple visiting Seychelles for the first time chose Daniella's for the location near Beau Vallon beach. Although we arrived early at about 9 am we were warmly greeted by owner Elcia and given the room immediately and invited to take breakfast without any question of extra cost- something you don't get in hotels. The bungalows are set in a beautiful well kept garden. The rooms were always cleaned - really cleaned- every day and we felt that they were really cared for.
Elcia was always happy to organize and offer advice on tours, outings, restaurants, taxis etc. and we learned was well respected everywhere we went.
It was a real pleasure to stay there, just like visiting a close friend.
It was our first beach holiday without all inclusive option, and we are so glad we choose Bord Mer Villa
Everything was great there- spacious room with comfortable bed and good air conditioner, tasty breakfast on the balcony, and very friendly staff of course!
Beach was just across the road, few restaurants around, market with very cheap and very tasty take away food(every Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday)
I really hope we'll be back soon
