Great Value in Victoria

Posted 18-Apr-2015
Pros: The location is excellent as the hotel is right next to the legislature and the harbour, yet is on a quiet side street.
Cons: The TV was a flat screen but the picture was not great. The water temperature in the sink was variable with surges of hot and then cold water.
Location: Located within and 1-10 minute walk to everything you might want to do in the city.
Staff were friendly, check in was fast. A good choice of hot and cold breakfast items. The room on the top floor was very quiet and we had a great sleep. Nice decor and furniture,

Great Location!

Posted 16-Apr-2015
Some things really good, some not so good. Took lowest priced room on Internet. Our room was two queens. The sheets and comforters nice and crispy white and clean. Pillows were awful, those foam chunk ones. 4 per bed, so find the best of the bunch. Or bring your own. One easy chair, with damaged upholstery, and a desk chair. Patio door to balcony, which let in a lovely breeze at night, and no street noise! Not much of a view. The bathroom counter very small, and tub very slow draining, whole bathroom still in 90's decor. But all quite clean, and newer carpet. Lots of 90's style furniture in room, almost a bit cramped, esp when you opened the bifold closet doors. The Breakfast is in a lovely room with tons of Windows for morning sun. Breakfast itself was full, hot and cold items, and fresh fruit salad! very ideal location in City for walking and exploring.

Great location and a hotel that's well cared for

Posted 10-Apr-2015
Super complimentary breakfast and very friendly, attentive staff. Great location near the harbour. We had a big room with a kitchenette. Free parking and free wifi. The hotel is a bit older, but well kept. Beds were very comfortable. We'll stay here again for sure!

Nothing but location

Posted 07-Apr-2015
Pros: Close to inner harbor and bus depo
Cons: Reduce ventilation fan noise for bathroom. It sounds like a washing machine.
This hotel is conveniently located near the Inner Habor, legislature building and bus depo.

Nice hotel, close to shopping and harbour.

The breakfast buffet was excellent and the kitchen staff were very professional. The front office staff seemed abrupt in their responses, but they did answer my questions.

weekend visit to Victoria

Posted 30-Mar-2015
Pros: I have stayed here before located not far from the legislature, harbour etc. I generally take the bus when in the big city. So it is near the buses
Cons: nothing
Location: Walk along harbour museum nearby and legislature.
Was on top floor and room had skylight so lots of light. Would have been nice to face the harbour though. Room had micro and oven and fridge. Everything worked. Did not do breakfast the first morning as wanted to go out but did on Sunday. Cereal yogurt bread facilities for making waffle. Had egg omelletes and sausage and home fires

Good location affordable price

The hotel was close to everything and had all the basic amenities. The decor was a bit dated but comfortable. Good value at an affordable price.
