"This was an absolute last resort hotel because I don't like to support companies that work with ICE, which has famously been Hilton. However, driving across the country with pets, options can be limited. Being the last night, it was extremely nice to have a 12pm check out time. However, it was not super nice to have house keeping asking me if I was checking out that day when it was 11:30. We definitely slept in longer than intended but it was really off putting to feel like we are inconveniencing the staff when we aren't doing anything wrong. Not only that but the house keeping person parked her carts right outside of our door, not making it any easier to move quickly. I spoke with the front desk person (Chuck) about this and he apologized and reassured me that I had plenty of time. Upon checking out, we had a nice conversation that left me feeling better about the stay but it's a hard pass from here on out. Extra money can go to a better stay with higher moral standards."
