We were placed in a nearby, brand-new apartment with two separate rooms. Please note that the building did not have an elevator, but the amenities within the room were awesome.

Pleasant Hotel in Venice
The staff was very pleasant and the room was clean and comfortable. Very short walk from the water bus to the hotel. I would definitely stay at this hotel again. Ciao.

Nice little hotel
Nice little hotel very close to Piazza San Marco and to Ferrovia station S. Zaccaria. This hotel doesn't have a reception desk and check-in and -out have to be done at Hotel Tiepolo which is at less than a 1-min walk. Our room was clean, with good wi-fi and a good air conditioner.

Front desk staff very rude. There is no secure luggage valet if you get there before check in. This is an annex to Hotel Tiepolo and the area in front of annex and stairway dim and scary with uneven carpet covered stone stairs which are a tripping hazard. No shower light and dim bathroom, but clean. Room very small for 4 people with little luggage storage, but clean. Window broken. No Working TV. No inner security latch to room.

Good location horrible hotel
Initially we struggled to find this hotel as it’s down a back alley. Then we check in only to find out that we are not staying in the actual hotel but in a separate area. Then we have to go up three flights of stairs with no elevator only to find a really old hotel room with a bathroom that has a toliet that doesn’t flush well, a shower that’s too small and doesn’t stay up higher than the lowest position. Also there is no working remote for the tv, the WiFi barely works, the double bed is actually two single beds pushed together. The only redeeming quality of the hotel is the location however that is not enough to overcome all the other issues.

Met minimum expectations
This is essentially an annex to the Hotel Tiepolo. The check in was smooth. Staff about as genuinely friendly as one could hope to find in a place such as Venice. Room was basic. No frills such as drinking water. Water was at least hot, room was clean and bed comfortable enough. My overall feeling was that this is probably a good hotel for Venice at this price point.

Great price for location and necessities.
Great location and the room has everything you need. No breakfast included but you get a discount if you eat at the closest restaurant, which we did not try since it appeared beyond our budget. Least favorite things were that the towels felt like paper and the internet did not work very well. Getting to the office the first time took about 20 mins because the address provided takes you somewhere nearby but not to the actual office which is hidden at the end of a dead end 2 ft wide path that does not appear to be a passage way. As we returned to our room everyday, we usually found other guests standing outside looking lost because they also couldn't find the office and we would have to guide them to it.

Great Location
This was a great hotel for the price!!! All we wanted was a warm place to sleep and have a warm shower, it was perfect. It also was at a great location close to the main museums, and shopping areas. If you have any issues the staff will help you out rite away without hesitation.

Mattress was pretty bad. Needs to be replaced. Very hard to sleep Wi Fi was in and out probably bc in the middle of a lot of buildings. Bring your own towels. They use something that resembles sheets. Location was great

I had a night stay in Venice and most of the places were too expensive. I found this place in the last minute and it was a good deal for the price. The room. Was small, no windows curtains like people could see you from outside. I dont know if the defination of privacy is different in such a dense city. Breakfast was simple but it really worth it. Was a boost for me. Venice is small, you can walk east to west ot Venice in 90 minutes but locationwise the hotel was in a good location. Near to many tourist attractions.

We were hesitant booking the room because of the bad reviews. But we are now very happy that we did it. The room was nice and clean, with an A/C and a fridge. Staff are super friendly. You cannot find a better hotel for the same price in the same area.

Very hard to find, as are all hotels in Venice, but they don't really give you a lot of information on how to find before you go so make sure to ask. Desk is open 24 hours a day and the hotel is clean and is more affordable than a lot of Venetian hotels. It was kind of noisy, but we were are on the first floor near the door and the walls seemed kind of thin. It also seemed like the main door was left unlocked a lot, which was weird, but not a huge concern. Overall, very clean and within minutes of Piazza San Marco.

Okay hotel near lots of attraction
This hotel was pretty decent for the price we paid. Upon arrival to the city, we got extremely lost. You have to take water boats to get anywhere in the city. When we finally discovered the path, we set out to find the hotel. You actually have to check into a different hotel, and only reason we knew was because we were lost and saw a hotel that has tiepolo in their name. We went in trying to find directions for our hotel, and the woman at the desk told us this was where we checked in, and she had to take us to our hotel towards an alley way. It wasn't far from the original check in, which was nice. We were on the third floor, and when we walked in it was extremely hot. The heater must have been left on so we immediately opened the windows. We had a double bed and a single twin. Bed was decent, a little hard for the back but it's what we expected for the price. The towels were actually bed sheets, or seemed like them, so it was a bit hard to dry off. At night, the streets are loud with locals who stay up late. So make sure to keep the windows closed if you want to sleep through your night. Overall the place was okay. You basically pay for what you get.

Short Break at Piccolo Tiepolo
Tiepolo offers rooms in a 3 different locations. Our room was not in the hotel building, but block away in a private accomodation. TV was not working, when we complained, we were told that it is work in progres. There were no canal views from this property, but windows had a metal bars, it felt like prison. On a positive note, room was clean and good size, located close to St Mark's square. Hotel restaurant, although it was narrow, it served buffet breakfast for additional 7 euros and it had a lovely view of the canal.

well, we were on the third floor without an elevator!! we had nine pieces of luggage!! not only three stories, but three stories up the narrowest stairs made in the 1800's!! the room, advertised for 4, could barely fit 3:(..the twin was a cot(ok), but so was the double(no, not queen-double)!! very uncomfortable beds:( had to lay feet to head to sleep even a little!! we were cramped to say the least..we however, felt safe and the room was clean and well tended:) now i must, after the whining, that we were definitely not overcharged-it is true, you get what upu pay for:) it was very reasonably priced..

This is a small hotel tucked away in a little courtyard, reached through a grungy alley. The alley is apparently where all the staff of local restaurants take their smoke breaks as the ground was covered with cig butts. The hotel staff was very pleasant and accommodating but the room left a lot to be desired. It was actually quite sizable for a European "single" but had nothing in the way of basic amenities. There was a TV that apparently was in the process of being installed as when I inquired why there wasn't a remote in the room the person at the desk said that was because it wasn't hooked up yet. OK. The major problem with the room, however, was that there was basically no light. There was a light fixture by the door, and a tiny bulb on the wall at either side of the bed, but it was impossible to read. To read a map I had to get my flashlight out, and this was during the day time. There was a chair in a corner but no desk or table of any kind. The room may have been inexpensive by Venetian standards but it was not cheap.

Great friendly service from staff, very helpful! Room was clean and great, and the location was the best. Right next to St. Marcs square and 5 min walk from waterbus. The ratings should be higher! I stayed at 3 different hotels in Venice, and this was the best one. I payed much less here and got more here! Also a tip, look for Tiepolo. I was looking for "Piccolo Tiepolo" and couldn't find it.

We were disappointed in this hotel. They shoved a family of four into a room that didn't fit a family of four and the beds were uncomfortable. Thank goodness we were there only one night. We did like the area and Venice was beautiful!

The room was a good size, the location is behind a restaurant so it's a little hidden. The air condition worked very well so no need to place air on high. The rooms are older than hotel tiepolo and also has a slight musty smell. Overall wasn't that bad and we stayed for one night

Located behind a restaurant. Difficult to find. Very close to san Marc basilica. Check in at hotel tiepolo then the staff will show you the direction.
