Has a great experience at Mabapa. The staff was very courteous and helpful, great good suggestions about what to do in Venice, best option for commuting etc. Will stay in the same hotel when we revisit Venice.

Wonderful to escape Venice crowds on lido When and if u go to island of Murano to see the glass… don’t get caught trying to get sea bus back between 4-6 pm Too busy

The place is underrated for sure. It has a lot of charm and very quaint. The gardens in front and back are a great place to relax. The view of the sea at it's door step is amazing. The breakfast is huge and everything was delicious! We had a regular room and it was very comfortable for 3 of us.

The room was extremely small and the bathroom was even smaller but beside that the place was great. Exterior is beautiful. Easy to get around its walkable or take the bus two stops to the boat. I would stay here again and I woukd recommend the hotel if you can get pass the small rooms and small bathroom.

This lovely hotel villa is quietly situated on the Lido Lagoon waterfront: cool breezes off the water on a hot day. The garden dining is a great feature. Staff are excellent- very professionally attentive. Breakfasts are excellent.

Arrived directly to and from the airport by speedboat, an amazing experience. The hotel has a beautiful setting, looking out across the water to Venice. Lovely outside bar, with waiter service, providing reasonably priced drinks. Would recommend and revisit this hotel.

Old world charm ! Beautiful entrance garden, bar area as well as a piano player as we stepped into the hotel was just lovely. Efficient staff and check in and then an excellent dinner in their restaurant made our first night in Lido just perfect.

I booked this property as it was listed as a hotel with bar and restaurant. Due to our trip being pre season i thougt the hotel facilities would be beneficial as most places would be closed. The staff were friendly and helpful but the bar was closed as it is out doors, drinks were available on request in the piano room but there was no music or atmosphere to make this a possible venue for the guests to relax and socialise. We were served breakfast which was ok, but lacked variety and after a few days prompted eating out. The restaurant itself was closed, so no option but to go to one of the few options further up the island, or go on a boat into venice centre. The only facilities in the room were a small kettle which had no on/off switch, but no cups or coffee/ tea provided. Plus mini fridge with some bottles of water which we were charged for. All in all our stay was ok, but expected more.

The Hotel Villa Mabapa is a gem of the Venice Lido. Its garden setting and nearby private beach are the setting for true relaxation. The hotel’s restaurant is exceptional. I can’t say enough good things. A genuine pleasure.

Beautiful property, nice staff, great breakfast abd the restaurant across the street was superb. My main complaint is how thin the wall were. If one person watches tv everybody hears it. The person in the room next door kept getting texts and it sounded like it was coming from my phone.

Great location, really easy to find and to get to and from Venice. The only small negative was parking space. I knew from other reviews that it was tight, so we rented a small car on purpose and still found parking at the hotel somehow challenging. Breakfast was great and staff very friendly and efficient! Would recommend!

Horrible Rude Hotel
I had stayed at this hotel 2yrs ago but I was on a tour, while we were there the staff was rude, I had to argue for a better room, I was given a child’s bed and a room that I couldn’t fit my suitcase. My friend told me we are on a tour they don’t expect us to spend more money so don’t expect more. This time I payed for our room not on a tour and the service was the same. When we got there at 10:30am, we asked if we could get coffee and was told no breakfast is over, go to the bar outside and get some there, we sat there for 45mins no one came. The staff is still rude, no welcome no telling us breakfast times, we were supposed to get wine and a free trip we received nothing, never a smile. Our room was horrible and I know on the newer side the rooms are much nicer, the 3 night stay was not cheap compared to the other hotels we booked in Florence and Sorrento but the room was cheap, old furniture and the best part was in was hot in our room when I asked why the air conditioner didn’t work I was told “it’s winter open a window” even though they knew they were experiencing very hot weather and since is October 13 considered winter?? I love Lido but I will never return to this hotel nor will I ever refer anyone to this rat trap of a so called hotel.

Lovely hotel a very special place on the Lido, the staff make your stay extra special because they are helpful and efficient. The restaurant has some great food and the garden has a bar and lots of places to sit and watch the boats go by. Beautiful all round experience can't thank Villa Mabapa enough!
