This was the perfect location; out of busy Venice and off in a quiet street. Everything was just a few minutes walk away & close to the vaporetto (water taxi). The owners were easy to communicate with & quick to respond to messages. The breakfast was simple yet delicious, especially the warm croissants & cappuccinos made fresh! I highly Re recommend Ca’ Turrelli!

Nice, but NO breakfast buffet
The big problem with this bed and "breakfast" is the misrepresentation of their breakfast. It is not a buffet, at all. It's just a basic continental breakfast. Nothing wrong with that, if that's what you expect. But if you choose a hotel thinking there's going to be a breakfast buffet and then you don't even get cheese for breakfast, it's upsetting. It's weird to me they would so blatantly misrepresent their breakfast. Ironically, this is a "Bed and Breakfast". Everything else, I liked: spacious bedroom and bathroom, decent WiFi, kind staff, great location (if, like me, you prefer not to be in the center of tourist action).

Perfectly located place with a friendly service. The mattress is super hard. My room was very small with no space for an armchair or a desk. View was on a tiny courtyard.

A quiet, basic & clean b & b - just the job. Only minor niggle was the lack of a handrail towards top of the steep staircase which made it difficult for an older person like me.

Great location and attention.
Hotel is well located, three water bus stations are near and walking distance to many tourist attractions. Tha attention was great, a little difficulty in that the lady doesn't speak english or spanish but we could understood each other. Room and bathroom are big. Our bed cushion was kind of old with the feeling of some holes.

Good location, clean and comfortable as B&B
Facilitiess as a B&B were good and breakfast was acceptable. The issue was the owner can only speak Russia and Italian and so there was problem in communication and so a mark down in service. Otherwise it was quite good but not as good value for money as the others. Locationwise was good as it was near all facitiies and tourist attractions.

Great people at the BB however. They had a leak on the AC and we had to put towels on the floor and it didn’t cool the room enough but the staff were super nice and great to us. Allowed us to keep ours bags there while we shopped and were able to check in, we arrived really early before check in time. The place is far from the main streets in the area of the main plaza.

Nice stay.
Internet was not working. Also please add some more items to the breakfast, fruits and boiled eggs, and be generous. Overall we loved the place and will surely recommend to others. Our train to Milan was at 6 pm. We were able to leave our bags - they gave us keys to access. That was a lot of help. Room and bathrooms were nice, clean and with the right amenities.

Amazing location. I can't recommend this B&B or staying in Dorsoduro highly enough. Staff is really nice, rooms are comfortable. Breakfast was fair - mostly the same each day, but - again - I highly recommend Ca'Turelli.

Great place!
I loved how clean and spacious the room and bathroom was. It was very hot in Venice and it was heavenly to have a great actually! I traveled with two 18 year olds and they loved how close it was to the vaporetto but far away to get a great night sleep after all day touring. The people there are extremely nice and very helpful. It's a gem in Venice!!! Thank you for an amazing stay!

Warm welcome, comfortable room & good facilities; simple continental breakfast provided - great coffee. Many excellent places for lunch/dinner nearby (all budgets); easy access to all Vaporetto lines. Lovely to be able to hear bells of Salute.

The bed and breakfast is a cheaper option in the expensive, beautiful city of Venice. Located a 15 minute walk from the bus terminal drop off point from Treviso Airport and around 15 minutes to San Marco Square. The room was clean and a decent size. The bed was a little hard and it’s a shame the host couldn’t have let us have an early breakfast the final morning seeing as we were leaving early and she was up and setting up anyway.

Too expensive comparing to what they offered
We were there for three days during early October. We arrived about 7pm on Friday and the owner was not there. A lady with little English let us in. The room is next to one canal. There were about 7 to 8 Mosquitos flying around when we walked in. We asked her and it took a while for her to understand. She offered something that can be plugged into power socket. But it was broken. During the night we could hear the mosquitos circled around and had to get up a couple of times to try to kill them. It is hard due to high ceiling. In the morning we woke up and smelt the terrible cooking smell. We informed the lady about the mosquito problems and then left. After we came back at 6:30pm, nobody was there and the thing used for mosquitoes had not been changed. Not happy with what happened, I gave sad face when returned the email sent by Expedia. Worried about another bad night of sleep, we sent the message to the owner and explained our concern. Finally we got a good one. We didn’t meet the owner until the night before we left. He actually ask me why sad face. We expected to meet our host when we arrived and be offered some information about the city so we can plan our days; Wifi does not work inside the room as well as mosquito problems. During the conversation, my husband tried to find the kettle. The owner actually told my husband off, said it was private property and he was not supposed to look around! For 125 euro a night, it is very expensive comparing to what they offered.

Lovely, peaceful neighborhood in Venice. The house is set up for a b and b. You are along side a sleepy canal with gondolas, and other boats. The hostess serves freshly baked crossiants every morning besides other eats. Several squares a few steps away and very centrally located. Very friendly owner. Excellent stay.

We received a warm welcome, the building is in a quieter part of Venice which was great to get away from the busy main route. The room was perhaps a little dated but was charming, roomy and sparkling clean. The shower was part of a wet room and therefore also roomy. The b&b is small and very personal. We would definitely go back there.

Quiet back water, with easy access to all Venice.
We had a great stay here. Took a while to find it, but actually very central for what we like to do, art galleries and great neighbourhood of bars and restaurants. It is also prettily sitauted on a canal off the beaten track of tourist hoards, but easy to get to those if required. We are three friends and were happy to share a large room with three beds, but two were made up as a double which wasn't what we requested, though it was evetually sorted by the second night. The room was clean, spacious, quiet and comfortable with a large bathroom. I would suggest adding a towel rail of soem sort as towels weren't changed every day, but it was hard to find somewhere to hang them to dry, but we managed. The owner was also very helpful in finding us a way to get to the airport for an early flight when we left.

We took a train to Venice and from the train station took the Vaporetto (boat) to hotel. It was then within walking distance to hotel. Breakfast is simple but nice to have. We didn't have any trouble walking to what we wanted to see.

Great location, the hotel was clean and the area was safe. It was a short walk to a lot of the sights and also some good bars and restaurants. The breakfast was minimal and only on offer for 1 hour in the morning. Overall we had a good stay and it was reasonable value for Venice.

This place was ok. Probably overpriced. It's very hard to get to and the woman at the front desk doesn't speak English at all, which is fine. But she makes little effort to communicate across the language barrier. The place is overall fine I suppose, but nothing special. The wifi barely works in the rooms too, so don't rely on it.

Little gem, away from the hustle and bustle.
Me and my fiancé had such a great time there. The location is away from the hoards of tourists, so you can have the freedom of a part of Venice that you can't elsewhere. The rooms and very spacious and the staff are very welcoming. We would definitely come back here again when in Venice.

The location of the hotel is perfect and there is nothing wrong with it. But, it is not a good place for people who like to relax on their holidays. First, the bed in our room was quite uncomfortable. Second, the hotel is very loud starting at fairly early hours. At 8:30 breakfast starts and you can hear everything, then the cleaning staff start screaming to each other which last until around 11:00. Also, breakfast only goes until 9:30 so not a great amenity if you aren't an early riser.
