Great Hotel
This hotel has everything you need for a stay in Varese. The staff are so helpful. I spoke with 3 or 4 reception staff and everyone of them was extremely helpful.

good location, clean room, helpful stuff. Room shows some age but not bad. Comfortable bedding, good AC, free parking, seems to be reasonably good restaurant. Good location, close to main attractions.

Fantastic location! Hotel Europa is a nice, clean and comfortable place to stay, but it really shines because of its location. It’s right in the center of Varese, great shops and restaurants are all within a few minutes walking distance.

Elegant, good location & helpful staff
Hotel is on the main artery at the city center, outside & inside of the building is elegant, it’s near to lots of restaurants/ bars/ pasticerrias, sights.The bus& taxis are just around the corner. The front desk staffs are helpful, friendly , accommodating & speaks English. I was chekcked in the 3rd fl, overlooking the city, nice view. The room was spacious ( i think i was upgraded, thanks Anita) clean, mini bar, good size of cabinet for luggage & clothe rack, a safe. A climate control for ac or heat. Bathroom is good size w/ good amenities ( soap, shampoo, hair cap, shoe shine) tv is small though but have lots of channel, English channels around 4-5 ( also posted w/c helped not to waste time) CNN, BBC, etc. wifi is good, fast. The housekeeper lady ( thank you) cleans the room everyday, no matter how late i leave . The bed feels fresh everytime i lay down in it. The only thing is the noise heard from adjacent room but gets quiet by 11pm. I wasn’t able to try their breakfast ( 7a-10). The front desk closed @ 1a so if you need to checked out before that try to arrange it the night before for instructions. I was helped by Mr. Roberto ( thanks) in arranging a taxi to pick me up before 6am, taxi cost €10 to get to main train station.it’s a good 12-15 mns walk to the station. I like the way all the personnel of the hotel communicates w/ me , they are very helpful, polite. I had a nice stay ,a safe area, definitely a place to be in Varese.

La cassetta del wc era non funzionante e scrosciava l'acqua per tutta la notte. Nel bagno c'erano solo due Asciugamani, mancava quello piccolo.

Purtroppo, due sere prima del soggiorno, ci ha travolto il recente alluvione che ha colpito la Toscana e ci siamo ritrovati con diverse decine di centimetri di acqua e fango. Consapevoli di avere una camera non rimborsabile, abbiamo provato più volte a contattare la struttura per una possibile soluzione proponendo anche un eventuale buono per poterci andare appena l'emergenza fosse rientrata. Si sperava in una mano sul cuore da parte loro vista la particolarità della circostanza ma, purtroppo, sono stati irremovili. Alla fine non ci siamo potuti ovviamente andare e nessuno ci è venuto incontro. Grazie veramente di cuore.

Ich hatte für die Buchung einen Monat im Voraus ein falsches Datum angegeben. Zwei Minuten (!) später bemerkte ich den Fehler und kontaktierte das Hotel. Diese hatte Null Verständnis dafür - im Gegenteil man warf mir vor ich hätte ja die gleichzeitig angebotene Annullationsversicherung abschliessen können. Verständnis Fehlanzeige, der Kunde wird wie Dreck behandelt. Für sie ist es irrelevant ob man einen Fehler gemacht hat oder ob man sich für ein anderes Datum umentschieden hat. Kundenfreundlichkeit geht anders!! Das Geschäftsmodell basiert auf maximalen Gewinn, zufriedene Kunden sind ihnen egal. Es gibt andere wo man 2 Tage vorher noch absagen kann.

Auf den ersten Blick wirken die Zimmer ganz schön eingerichtet, bei genauerem Hinsehen werden allerdings viele kleine Mängel deutlich. Hier ist etwas abgestoßen, da ist die Dusche verkalkt. Nicht gerade vertrauenserweckend ist der Hinweis, dass man den Fahrstuhl besser nicht nach Mitternacht benutzen sollt….weil dann niemand mehr an der Rezeption ist. Uns wollte man zunächst ein Zimmer geben, dessen Fenster kaputt war und nicht zu ging. Merkwürdig. Zumal das Europa an einer lauten Strasse liegt. Schließt man allerdings das Fenster, ist die Klimaanlage so laut, dass man auch nicht schlafen kann.

En la habitación había mucho polvo, sobre todo en las enormes cortinas, creo que no las han limpiado nunca. El personal fue muy amable, salvo un recepcionista irrespetuoso que estaba en el turno de noche y hablaba muy alto con los clientes a altas horas de la noche, hacía mucho ruido subiendo a las habitaciones (no sé muy bien a qué subía) por las noches... El desayuno sencillo y correcto

Very conveniently located. Unfortunately my room faced the street so there was some car noise during nighttime. The mattress is very soft - which is good if that is your preference. The staff (at the reception as well as the cleaning staff) was very friendly. A few more electric sockets would be good as I had to share one with my phone charger, the kettle, the mini bar fridge.
