Perfect
What a perfect place to stay in Vancouver. Out of the crowds, but just a quick and beautiful drive over the bridge through Stanley park to the city and close to the ferry. Warm and cozy environment, with a gas fireplace. Totally private suite, just like staying in a cabin. No noise from the street or house, just like staying in a stand alone property. Great for a couple or a family...we have two young kids and they both loved it. Kitchen works well for cooking meals and making chocolate chip cookies to make everyone happy. Would definitely recommend this property and stay there again. Thanks!

Very convenient location in North Vancouver. easy access to downtown and shorter drive to Whistler. The place is clean and cozy. it was as described. street parking but plenty and safe. we really enjoyed our short stay there.

Stayed here in late November with husband and two boys (4 & 8) and it was a great fit for our needs. Good location for the various things we had planned and we enjoyed being able to walk to several different restaurant options.

Great stay!
We had a wonderful week staying at this property. My husband and our 2year old had all we needed for our stay - including a crib and household supplies for a small child. We were within walking distance of food and easily found parking in front the of house. The apartment itself was very clean and quiet, we had no issues at all and would easily come back and stay here again. Highly recommend!

When I arrived in North Van early, I asked the hosts if it was possible to check in early. I received a prompt reply that it was no problem at all. Check in was a breeze and contactless. The property was clean and comfortable with all conforts of home. The location is great: a short walk to Lonsdale for groceries, coffee and dining and about a 25 minute walk to the Lonsdale Quay. I would not hesitate to stay here again when visiting North Van and will reccomend it to friends and family. 5 stars in all departments!

The location of this property was great. The neighbourhood was clean and very quiet. The apartment was nicely appointed but showing signs of wear and tear. * The walkway up to the unit needs to be one solid surface, very difficult to roll your luggage on slabs of concrete separated by sunken river rock. * This unit has no A/C and NO screens on the windows. Vancouver is getting warmer!!! A/C is a must especially since you really can't keep the windows open because there are no screens and you're on a lower level and anything could get in through the window. Supplying 4 fans in the unit does not help, it just circulates warm air. *No window in bathroom. Fan makes noise, so makes you think its working but has no suction power, therefore all the heat and steam goes into the already warm unit. *Could provide better sheets and comforters, microfiber is cheap and makes you sweat even more. * Towels were worn and torn * Front door curtain could be washed. * No useable frying pans. They are all scratched, leaching harmful chemicals into your food. * Shower curtain rod is badly rusted making it hard to pull curtain open or closed. It needs to be replaced or covered with plastic rod protector. * Heating duct registers were full of dust and debris and spider webs. Looked like they were never cleaned. * Info binder needs to be updated. It was written in 2014 ! * Motion lights had no bulbs in them. Very hard to see where you're going at night.

Disappointing review from a difficult guest. Liz asked to cancel the day before arrival for no reason as she was in Vancouver! We declined (as it was mid August and our busy season and she had the booking for months), and unfortunately received this review as a result.

Comfortable with Suitable Amenities
Being San Francisco Bay Area California Natives arriving to and galavanting through Vancouver, BC for the first time, being able to reside in this location provided both a homey and luxurious feeling. The neighborhood reminded us of our hometown neighborhoods, and the cleanliness and location providing both sufficient privacy and an area to relax in the evening was wonderful to sink into. The only character trait of the property my family and I would have appreciated being aware of is the lack of a smooth path. If you have packed heavy, large suitcases, you will have to lug them up the path and stairs to the private door of the suite.

Needs hand rails on stairs into place. Needs grab bars for bathtub. Needs bathtub tap fixed from steady dripping. Needs some paint work done. Not a good place for someone with mobility issues. One bed too low and one too high. Otherwise a nice place.

Well provisioned in a great location
This property is well stocked. We didn’t need anything. They even had the reusable grocery bags in the closet. Really close to everything along Lonsdale. We used it as extra space while visiting family in North Vancouver. Very clean. I would definitely re book this property.

Very well-equipped apartment in great location
This apartment was ideal for us and actually better equipped that we had realised from the listing, with fully equipped kitchen, coffee machine, dishwasher and washer-drier, oven/hob, microwave etc. There were also some supplies kindly left, for which we were grateful as we arrived too late to seek out supermarket for breakfast etc. Reaching downtown Vancouver was easy via 228 bus and seabus, but it was also well-placed for the lovely walks and trails in Lynn valley, for example. Communication with hosts, Justin and Kim, was good. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Cozy Home Away From Home!
We rented this suite for the month of October 2020 to explore North Vancouver and visit our daughter who lives here. Kim welcomed us and took care of any questions and problems that we had while getting settled. The location of their house is excellent! We could easily walk down to Lonsdale Avenue and the Shipyards, or the other way down Grand Boulevard. There’s lots of grocery stores nearby, and the highway to West Vancouver and Whistler is super close. The suite is completely separate from the house, and it’s above ground so there’s pretty good natural light. I loved the fireplace and the beds are comfortable. The kitchen supplies are older, but we always bring our own good frypan and knives so that was fine. The shower is good and there are lots of soft towels. We will definitely book this VRBO again when we’re visiting North Vancouver. Thanks Justin & Kim! :)

Absolutely Perfect
Kim and Justin were incredible hosts adjusting to changing needs for guests with kindness and care. It was completely perfect, very clean and also very homelike and comfortable. So glad were lucky enough to find the perfect place to be. And ...such comfortable beds and well equipped kitchen! Exta nice to arrive to a warm home with fire on, a bottle of wine and welcome card. Perfect spot for exploring the city.
From our first contact, communications with Justin were excellent. The booking process was straightforward. The accommodation is comfortable, well equipped and is in a great location, a short walk from local restaurants and shops, and an easy drive from both central Vancouver and local rural attractions, e.g. Capilano and Grouse Mountain, or the Horseshoe Bay ferry. Justin and Kim responded quickly and clearly to all of our communications which made everything easy and stress free. We had a very late flight into Vancouver so the keypad entry was very welcome. This was a perfect place to stay in North Van. The suite is exactly as advertised and then some. It is in walking distance to all the amenities you need for short or long stay. It is equipped better than any other vrbo location that we have stayed at. There were not only the basic things that you expect but good quality pots, pans and even good sharp useable knives. The suite is exceptionally quiet and very well laid out. Attention to detail was present throughout the suite. The beds were comfortable and the linens were as good as in our home. We made use of the insuite laundry which worked well and although we didn't need it there was even a starer pack there. We were there to see our daughter and grandson who are only a four block walk from the Grand Blvd. Suite and they are telling there friends and other family to use this suite when they visit. We will certainly be using it whenever we return to visit, providing it is available.

A Wonderful Stay in North Vancouver, BC
Our family of 3 greatly enjoyed our stay at this location in North Vancouver, BC. We had rapid access (5 min) to HWY1 into Stanly Park over Lion's Gate Bridge (each crossing is always special) and city streets in North Vancouver to a host of activities, restaurants and other fun. We found plenty of great meals 10 minutes away and the location itself was in a very nice, quiet neighborhood. The place is a touch smaller than the pictures make it feel, but very nice. We could not get the TV to work, but didn't really want to much either as we were mostly sleeping or out. The only downside as with almost all houses in the Northwest, is that there was no A/C. We were there on a few particularly hot nights and could not get enough breeze in the windows to cool down significantly. We found a single fan, which did help. So keep that in mind if you are an A/C person and you come in the summer. Otherwise, a very very nice stay.

We would have been over to fix the gas fireplace (re-start the pilot light) in 5 minutes or less if we had known it was out during your stay. Similar to the pathway lights. All the best. A very quiet and private suite
We enjoyed the proximity to Grand Boulevard for morning walks. Despite experiencing a brief “heat” wave, the unit remained wonderfully cool and we slept soundly every night. Justin and Kim were responsive and accommodating hosts. Thanks for a wonderful stay.
