The check in is a little weird. It is not at front desk, but in a hidden office. You have a to fill in a document with tons of information about yourself. Only one elevator on each side working so sometimes you had to wait three trips of other guest to their floors and wait your turn, since only 3-4 people fit per elevator. The apartaments are modern, spacious and nice. The apartment overall was clean but the tub had mold. The gym was ok, however it smelled bad. The location was good, near to a main shopping mall and restaurants.

Great value, high end establishment/spacious, comfortable rooms in a great neighborhood for a very reasonable rate. Since it’s a rental property, it’s a little confusing when you arrive since the folks at the front desk don’t check you in. Minor detail as someone from the Rental unit arrives quickly to check you in, perhaps the communication could be better.

Good for couples
A quirky building with lots of unique furniture. Be mindful that this place is a fair way from the main Punte atmosphere. But easily accessible with a car and close to the shopping centre. We visited in the middle of winter and loved having the place to ourselves. The indoor pool and spa area were great, with 2 large saunas. Although the outdoor pool (and pool table) was closed during August. Free car park was a great bonus and the staff were friendly, except the cleaner who walked in through our locked door without knocking. Overall a nice resort style apartment in a safe area

This apartment is a disaster. No clean, bed is a very poor bed, pillows??? Forget this word in this apartment. Its owner does nt think in his passenger. WC seat broken. That “ double sofa” is a poor little bed for a light child. Microwave, refrigerator and tap on bathroom are very poor. Yoo is a good place, but this apartment... forget

Great apartment at a great price
This is a great place. Not really a hotel, seems more like a time share The apartment was beautiful and comfortable, with a full kitchen and plenty of space The pool was great. The downsides are there there's no restaurant and it is far from the beach

No plug adaptors enough. Today people has cel ph and others devises, if you must to ask for an adapter for 2 people and it must be return . . . this is a 1 star service. No wall plugs enough. Cables and telephones in bad fixed way. Microwave and kitchen must to come with instructions ... no available so you need to call to somebody say how it works. Key of main door must to be used to lock cause the main door does not lock alone. Safe box is fixing in the floor in a dark place, o lights. too difficult to the sober, but for the renter too!! Parking was in the 2nd sub floor... I left my car in the street. Elevators . . . only 2 mains of 4 people for more than 200 apartments! The balcony with a nice view had no nothing to be seated ... The windows of apartment 1510 was almost impossible to be open. and the Air conditioners ( dirty) with a too much brilliant light that is not possible to sleep, make a string sound with you turn on off. The sofa was dirty and some furniture burned with cigars. And others details that if you pay usd 300 night is not possible to exist.

Nice Apt. hotel close to beach and shopping
You are two blocks away from La Tienda Inglesa a supermarket and shopping and mall open late during peak season. A bid pricy but great fresh cold cuts and ready made food. There is also a McDonald's by same shopping. A 5 min car ride to beach or by public bus is less than 10 mins cost 29 UY pesos which is like 1.00 US dollar. Buses are On Main Street Roosevelt ave in from of building. There is nice Spa with a steam room and sauna and massages are 65.00 a hour but you need to book ahead of time. It's a apt not a room you have a living room a small kitchen, dinning area a alcove with a single bed no privacy wall. The master bedroom in suite with bathroom.A bid modern you can see photos in Expedia it's the Yoo apartments and it's the gold category good rate. A couple and a child or total 3 fit great.

Very Nice hotel with a particular Philip Stark look. Was very disapointed that outdoor pool is no heated, and specially that they didn't give any towels! You cound't even take some from the spa. .

Beautiful hotel with amazing pool
This hotel is beautiful designed and fully equipped with everything you could possibly need to enjoy your stay. It is not that close to the beach (20 min walk) but the pool area feels as if you are at an all inclusive resort. The room was very clean. I throughly enjoyed Yoo hotel. I look forward to my next stay.

Nice.An Apartment. Parada 8 is 15 Minute Walk Away
Just to be clear, these are apartments and not a hotel. It was a bit surprising for us, but made little difference except that we had a full kitchen, which was nice. They also say that they are at Roosevelt and Parada 8. Parada 8, however, is about a 15 minute walk away. This was not bad for us, but the advertisement makes it sound as though Parada 8 is less than a block away. It's not. We wanted a hotel close to Punta Shopping, and it's VERY close by. The neighborhood also has several grocery stores to stock the kitchen if you wish to cook. There are a few restaurants nearby. The bus comes very close, and you can get to 'downtown' in just a few minutes. You are 10 blocks from Mansa Beach. The sauna and hot tub area was beautiful, and the pool area is beautiful, although the pool is not heated in the winter. The pool area also has a barbecue (Parillada) and there is a Meat Store (carniceria) just a few minutes walk away that sells wood, meat, seasoning and everything else you might want to have a barbecue dinner.

Hip Modern Apartment Hotel in Punta
Very accommodating stay in a wonderful neighborhood. Hotel/apartment includes many amenities that you wouldn't find in a regular hotel.

Great amenities (pool and spa), convenient location near large shopping mall with grocery store and banks to convert $. Pool was beautiful. Our room was clean with great view. Daily maid service was great given this is not a full service hotel. Note that post-Feb the town more or less shuts down, so on site restaurant was not open during our stay.

This is a nice hotel, for holidays. However, I am a business traveler and was disappointed in the hotel. They didn't have restaurant, so no room or coffee service. In bathroom they did not offer wash clothes and no waste basket in bathroom.

Think rent-a-flat instead of hotel
Yoo presents itself as a hotel, but it's actually a condo complex in which some owners rent their properties on a nightly basis. At least off-season when we visited, there was no restaurant or breakfast available, no bellmen, and minimal services in general. The indoor pool was closed, although the outdoor pool (unheated) was accessible. Our apartment was small but comfortable. There are Philippe Starck touches in the rooms, but they are more obvious in the common areas, where finding the elevators in a sea of gray silk curtains can be a challenge, and once inside the near-dark elevators, you may need a flashlight to read the floor numbers on the buttons. Yoo is located in an upscale residential area near the shopping center and away from the beaches.

good condo rental option in Punta del Este
This is a condo building with units available for rental, it is not a "hotel". As such the service is not as intimate as you might expect. That said, the property is very nice, the suites have plenty of room, and the decor is cool. Spa pool is relaxing and the treatments are well-priced and enjoyable.
