Lovely place needs some work
Very nice barn conversion in a quiet area, overlooking fields with regular sightings of buzzards and barn owls. There were a few things which let the property down. Firstly, it should not be advertised as having wi-fi. Connection was often unavailable and the speed when connected was worse than dial-up with not much in the way of phone signals as is often the case in remote areas. The fridge is not fit for purpose and struggled in the heat, with little room for the needs of 6 adults. There is no fan (a very cheap item to have available, even Travelodges have them) and there was no pole to open the velux windows, making sitting inside unbearable for most of the stay. Only one bin liner was provided, insufficient dishwasher tablets or loo rolls. Shower heads were clogged, inaccessible light bulbs should be checked and a thorough clean is required. We did enjoy our week's stay, but a liitle work at little expense would have made it so much better.
